The upcoming Hulu series Pam & Tommy has brought up some very painful feelings.

“The upcoming Pam & Tommy Hulu series has been very painful for Pamela Anderson and for anyone that loves her,” the source tells ET. “It is shocking that this series is allowed to happen without her approval.”

Anderson’s marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee is being dubbed as “The greatest love story ever sold.” The series premieres with the first three episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 2, with new episodes streaming weekly on Hulu. An extended trailer dropped earlier this month, showing another side of Anderson and Lee’s sex tape scandal and the intense roller-coaster ride the then-couple went through following the leak of their infamous sex tape.

The actress and rock star’s budding relationship instantly became tabloid fodder, and amplified after they got married in Mexico after dating for less than a week. A source tells ET that Anderson, who shares sons Brandon and Dylan with Lee, says she has no regrets about her life, save for one dark moment.

“Pamela has no regrets about her life,” the source said, “but the only thing she would probably erase is this burglary. She feels so violated to this day. It brings back a very painful time for her.”

In the latest trailer, former employee Rand Gauthier (played by Seth Rogen) and his friend, Uncle Miltie (Nick Offerman) concoct a plan to steal a giant safe at Anderson and Lee’s home. The safe so happened to store the sex tape the couple made on their honeymoon in 1995. Gauthier and Miltie try to sell the tape, and they ultimately find success on the internet despite being in its infant stages. The trailer later cuts to Anderson wearing her trademark red swimsuit while on the set of Baywatch, stumbling upon the show’s crew huddling over a TV and watching her and Tommy’s most intimate moment on tape.

Anderson, portrayed by Lily James, is in utter shock. But Lee? Not so much. Lee, portrayed by Sebastian Stan, can’t figure out why Anderson’s hysterical, and it’s a sentiment Lee still shares to this day, according to the source.

“Tommy feels fine about the series coming out and is excited to see it,” the source tells ET. “He still doesn’t understand how this incident impacts Pamela differently from himself.”

While Lee has more than given his stamp of approval to the series (Lee told ET he has no problem with Stan portraying him), the same cannot be said of Anderson, who is in the midst of divorcing her fourth husband. In fact, she appears to have wanted to be so far removed from the project, James’ efforts to reach Anderson went unanswered.

James recently revealed she attempted to contact Anderson about the project, to no avail.

“I was really hopeful that she would be involved. I wish it had been different,” James told Net-a-Porter’s Porter for its cover story. “My sole intention was to take care of the story and to play Pamela authentically.”

Pamela Anderson ‘Won’t Be Watching’ Hulu’s ‘Pam & Tommy’

Changing the channel! Pamela Anderson “won’t be watching” Hulu’s Pam & Tommy — despite the series being about her and ex-husband Tommy Lee, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

“She had no involvement whatsoever” in the making of the show, the insider says.

The series stars Lily James as Anderson, 54, and Sebastian Stan as Lee, 59, and will follow the exes’ whirlwind relationship, including when they tied the knot in 1995 after knowing each other for 96 hours. It will also feature the story behind the Baywatch alum and the Mötley Crüe musician’s leaked sex tape.

Earlier this month, James, 32, revealed that she tried to reach out to Anderson to speak with her about the show and get her support — but she didn’t have any luck.

“I was really hopeful that she would be involved. I wish it had been different,” the Downton Abbey alum told Net-a-Porter’s Porter on January 10. “My sole intention was to take care of the story and to play Pamela authentically.”

The Cinderella actress claimed she continued to try and contact the former Playboy model “right up until we started filming,” noting that she’s “never worked so hard” on a project. “I read the books [Anderson] has written, I read her poetry, I can parrot along to all her interviews,” James added.

Anderson, for her part, has been busy with her own commitments, including renovating her Vancouver Island, Canada, estate for an upcoming HGTV Canada series.

The Barb Wire star recently faced personal turmoil, splitting from Dan Hayhurst. Anderson’s rep confirmed to Us on Friday, January 21, that the model is getting divorced after one year of marriage.

The Canada native is the one who ended the relationship, a source exclusively tells Us. “There was no final straw,” the insider says, explaining that the pair “simply fell out of love.”

In the wake of the split, Anderson is “doing just fine,” choosing to spend time in Malibu with her sons, Brandon, 25, and Dylan, 24, whom she shares with Lee. (The pair were married from 1995 to 1998.)

“Wherever they are is where she feels most at home,” the source adds.

Us previously reported that Anderson and Hayhurst were “taking time apart” one year after they secretly tied the knot at her home on Vancouver Island on Christmas Eve in 2020. A source told Us on Thursday, January 20, that the Scary Movie 3 actress “saw the marriage as a fresh start, but the spark has faded.”

Fans, however, will get a glimpse at her relationship with Hayhurst pre-split when her HGTV show airs as he was her costar and “will be featured” on the series, the insider tells Us.

Following her marriage to Lee, Anderson briefly romanced Kid Rock, splitting in 2006 after one year of marriage. She moved on with Rick Saloman, whom she had an on-off relationship with from 2007 to 2015.

Anderson started dating Jon Peters in late 2019 and secretly wed in January 2020. However, the pair never obtained a marriage license and parted ways less than two weeks later.

Pam & Tommy premieres on Hulu Wednesday, February 2.

Pamela Anderson Calls It Quits With Fourth Husband Dan Hayhurst After 1 Year of Marriage

Pamela Anderson and husband Dan Hayhurst are calling it quits, this according to multiple reports.

Rolling Stone is also reporting that the Baywatch star is filing for divorce in her native Canada. Anderson and Hayhurst have been living in her Vancouver Island home since tying the knot there on Christmas Eve 2020. At the time, the actress told The Daily Mail that Hayhurst was exactly where she needed to be – “in the arms of a man who truly loves me.”

Anderson told The Daily Mail that the pair fell in love while in lockdown due to COVID-19. She revealed that a local pastor performed the ceremony. Anderson and Hayhurst exchanged traditional vows, and the actress’ bouquet included a blue hydrangea, olive branch, roses, baby’s breath, eucalyptus, an orchid and a pine bough.

There were no guests at the ceremony due to the pandemic, which Anderson said she was OK with because “we prefer to be ourselves.” Following the ceremony, the couple enjoyed a two-tiered, homemade vegan cake.

Prior to Hayhurst, Anderson was previously married to Tommy Lee, Kid Rock and Rick Salomon. In February 2020, Anderson had an intimate wedding ceremony with Jon Peters, but they split up 12 days later. The couple never filed the legal paperwork for their marriage certificate, Anderson later confirmed.

Anderson’s marriage to the Mötley Crüe drummer is the subject of a new Hulu series, Pam & Tommy. The series, being dubbed as “The greatest love story ever sold,” premieres with the first three episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 2, with new episodes streaming weekly on Hulu.

Back in May 2020, Anderson told The New York Times that she “absolutely” hoped to tie the knot one more time in her life. “Just one more time. Just one more time, please, God,” she said. “One more time only. Only!”

Pamela Anderson and her fourth husband, Dan Hayhurst, grew apart while living together during the pandemic, a source tells ET.

News broke on Thursday that Anderson and Hayhurst, her former bodyguard, were splitting after one year of marriage. A rep for 54-year-old Anderson confirms the breakup, telling ET in a statement, “Pamela Anderson and Dan Hayhurst are divorcing. Pamela is filing for divorce in Canada.”

Meanwhile, a source tells ET that Anderson and Hayhurst quarantining together definitely put a strain on their marriage.

“Pamela and Dan grew apart after living together during the pandemic,” the source says. “Pamela started to learn everything about Dan, for better and for worse. She fell out of love and Dan was not the guy she previously thought he was.”

Prior to Hayhurst, Anderson was previously married to Tommy Lee – with whom she shares sons Brandon and Dylan with – Kid Rock and Rick Salomon.

“Pamela is a natural romantic and always has the best intentions,” our source shares. “Her character shows in everything she does. Pamela is a human rights, animal rights and public health advocate. She goes to town hall meetings in the town she lives in in Canada to make sure everyone is safe and taken care of. She genuinely cares for others, and this is apparent in every aspect of her life, including her relationship with Dan.”

Anderson and Hayhurst had been living in her Vancouver Island home since getting married there in an intimate ceremony on Christmas Eve 2020. She told the Daily Mail last January that she and Hayhurst met each other at the start of the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and were never apart since.

“This one year together has felt like seven – like dog years,” Anderson said at the time, adding that she and Hayhurst were a “natural fit.” “I’m in love. We were married Christmas Eve with both our families’ blessing, everyone we know is happy for us.”

Christina Aguilera extends an olive branch to Britney Spears after snub Shortly after Britney Spears’ conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, Christina Aguilera was asked at the Latin Grammy Awards if she’d had “any communication” with her former “Mickey Mouse Club” costar. Christina said she was “so happy” for Britney, as her publicist ended the chat and moved her along. Despite what was perceived as a snub — even by Britney — Christina now says she’d “love to” catch up with the singer. “I would always be open to that. It’s a subject that I definitely want to be careful of because I never want to speak out of [turn] about somebody that I have so much respect and admiration for,” Christina told iHeartRadio’s Enrique Santos on his show this week. “I will just say what I do feel comfortable saying, as I’ve said before actually and stated: that I couldn’t be happier for her. Every woman deserves to feel empowered and to own that for themselves however they see fit,” Christina said. “Growing up in this business can be freakin’ crazy, so if anybody gets that and understands what that means at that time coming up, you know, it definitely would be her and I,” she added. “I love being able to connect like that with other women. It’s very important now more than ever, now that we do have the ability to connect, that that happens and that we always feel unified.” Christina’s olive branch comes after Britney slammed the singer for failing to answer the question she was asked about the conservatorship that dominated Britney’s life for 13 years. “I love and adore everyone who supported me … but refusing to speak when you know the truth, is equivalent to a lie!!!” Britney wrote on her Instagram Story last fall, sharing a clip of Christina’s interview question dodge. ‘Pam & Tommy’ series ‘brings back a very painful time’ for Pamela Anderson: Report Lily James, who plays Pamela Anderson in the upcoming Hulu series, “Pam & Tommy,” recently said she reached out to Pamela in the hopes the “Baywatch” alum “would be involved,” but Pamela never responded. Now, an Entertainment Tonight source is shedding new light on Pamela’s true feelings about the series, which documents her highly publicized romance with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, including the former couple’s leaked 1995 sex tape. “The upcoming ‘Pam & Tommy’ Hulu series has been very painful for Pamela Anderson and for anyone that loves her. It is shocking that this series is allowed to happen without her approval,” the source tells ET. “Pamela has no regrets about her life,” the insider says, but the burglary in which the sex tape was stolen is “the only she would erase.” Adds the source: “She feels so violated to this day. It brings back a very painful time for her.” Tommy, on the other hand, approved the series and “is excited to see it,” according to ET’s source. “He still doesn’t understand how this incident impacts Pamela differently from himself.” Speaking to Net-a-Porter’s Porter, Lily said she read all of Pamela’s books and poetry and learned to “parrot” her past interviews while preparing for the role. “I wish it had been different,” she said of not being able to talk with Pamela before playing her. “My sole intention was to take care of the story and to play Pamela authentically.” “Pam & Tommy,” which also stars Sebastian Stan as Tommy, begins streaming on Hulu on Feb. 2. John Stamos shares his emotional eulogy for best friend Bob Saget Tributes from Hollywood and beyond flooded social media following Bob Saget’s unexpected death on Jan. 9. But perhaps the most moving tribute of all came courtesy of John Stamos, who eulogized his longtime friend and “Full House” costar when the actor was laid to rest in Los Angeles last week. The Los Angeles Times published the full speech on Jan. 21, shining a light on how close the two were through the years and why the word “love” has popped up so many times in remembrances of the comic since his death. “I just wish he knew how much the world loved him when he was here,” John said, in part. “I spent many a night trying to convince him of how loved he really was (or maybe it was the other way around — him trying to convince me how loved he was). But that was just Bob bluster. There’s no way he thought his death would have this kind of impact.” Later, John recalled all the major life milestones during which he’d leaned on Bob. “He was my lifeline,” John said. “He loved hard and deep,” he continued, joking, “Cue Bob to make a joke out of ‘hard and deep.” As the speech came to an end, John recalled being “shattered” when he learned Bob was gone, but said he went to the home his late friend shared with his wife and “slipped into the backyard” alone. “I looked up to the sky and said, ‘Baby, please give me a sign from up there,’” he shared, adding, “I called him Baby because that’s how he entered his info into my phone years ago.” Eventually, John said, he realized, “I don’t need Bob in some other realm,” because “he’s in the lessons I teach my son and the hilarious dirty stories that my wife and I will laugh at for the rest of our lives.” In closing, John explained he now knows Bob is “never leaving my heart” and “will always be my best friend.” He added, “You are my new guardian angel — a guardian angel with the dirtiest mouth and a heart as big and benevolent as forever. I love you, Baby.” RELATED: Meatloaf dead at 74, plus more stars we’ve lost to COVID-19

Pauly Shore was among Louie Anderson’s last visitors at Las Vegas hospital It’s already been a hard year for the comedy world. On Jan. 21, just weeks after Bob Saget’s death, a rep for Louie Anderson confirmed Louie had lost his battle with cancer after being hospitalized while undergoing treatment for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Prior to his death, however, Louie, 68, was able to connect in-person with his longtime pal, Pauly Shore, who tweeted on Jan. 20 that he’d just visited Louie. “Attention comedians and @theComedyStore alumni’s,” Pauly wrote. “I say this with a heavy heart just left the hospital in Las Vegas where Louie Anderson his sisters and close friend were kind enough to let me say my goodbyes he’s still with us but keep him in your prayers.” Pauly, 53, also assured a fan that he’d let Louie know how much he was loved while he was there. Once recognized by Comedy Central as “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time,” Louie appeared in shows including “Baskets,” “Life with Louie,” and “The Louie Show,” as well as Eddie Murphy’s original “Coming To America” and its sequel. Louie’s death was confirmed the same day TMZ confirmed rocker Meatloaf had died of complications from COVID-19.

Pete Davidson and Colin Jost buy Staten Island ferryboat for $280k “Saturday Night Live” stars Pete Davidson and Colin Jost could be New York City’s next club big impresarios — and Mayor Eric Adams is ready to help them make it happen. On Jan. 20, Vulture reported the comics teamed up with Paul Italia, a co-owner of the Big Apple comedy club The Stand, to buy decommissioned Staten Island ferryboat. The trio reportedly plunked down $280,100 for the boat at an auction on Jan. 19. They now plan to convert it “into a live entertainment event space, with comedy, music, art” and more, according to the New York Post. The mayor’s already caught wind of the group’s plan and expressed support for the concept. “Pete, @ColinJost: I love this idea,” he tweeted on Jan. 21. “What a great way to give an NYC icon a second life. Let us know how we can help and we’ll be there for the maiden voyage.” Speaking to the Post, Paul said of the purchase, “We’re in the early stages, but everybody involved had the same ambition — not to see this thing go to the scrapyard.” Built in 1965, the ferryboat is reportedly in “poor condition” and will need to have multiple mechanical problems fixed before it can step into its new life as a club. Both Colin and Pete hail from Staten Island.

Dakota Johnson calls out mom Melanie Griffith for posting embarrassing childhood photos Like a lot of moms, Dakota Johnson’s mother operates with a different metrics system when it comes to gauging the level of embarrassment she could cause her daughter in various situations. Unlike other moms, however, Dakota’s mother is Melanie Griffith — which means there are a lot more eyes what she posts on social media. As Dakota told James Corden on the Jan. 20 edition of “The Late Late Show,” this fact doesn’t stop Melanie from posting old pics of Dakota at will. “I don’t like it, but I also don’t go on social media, so I don’t find out about it until it’s really baked into the Internet, and somebody will send it to me like, ‘Oh, you were so ugly.’ Or ‘You were so cute, when you had braces and a slicked back ponytail,’” said Dakota, 32. So what does “The Lost Daughter” star do when she discovers a new photo of herself on her mom’s social media? “[I become] a 12-year-old,” she told James with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Mom, you can’t do that. We’ve had this conversation so many times!’ She doesn’t care,” Dakota said. It’s not much better in real life, Dakota noted, recalling the time she spotted her ’90s-era celeb crush, Jonathan Taylor Thomas at an airport. “Saw him in the airport and I was like … I think I was 8 — ‘Oh my god, Mom, it’s him, it’s really him.’ I was like, ‘We’re gonna be married. We’re gonna be together forever! We’re the same. We love each other.’” That’s when Melanie helpfully hollered at the star to come say hello. “I was across the airport behind a plant,” Dakota recalled. Alas, she was still “very visible,” she said, laughing. “I couldn’t hide behind the plant … it wasn’t like a tree.”
