Would Danica McKellar Ever Play The Wonder Years’ Winnie Again? - Exclusive

Danica McKellar wouldn’t rule out a cameo appearance on “The Wonder Years” reboot “if it’s appropriate.” For her, it would be important to honor the integrity and vision of the new show. “I wouldn’t want to be a distraction, but sure. I mean, if they wanted me to do something, I would absolutely be on board,” she told us.

Bringing back the characters of Winnie Cooper and Kevin Arnold, however, feels like a bit of a stretch to McKellar. “I don’t think that we’ll ever do that type of revival,” she said. “Again, I’d be open to it, but there was something so special about ‘The Wonder Years’ as it was, and I’m not sure if we came back and all did a big reunion. Hey, ‘Very, Very Wonder’ — Remember that ‘Very Brady Christmas,’ like ‘Very Wonder Christmas’? I don’t know,” she said.

In short, McKellar is happy to leave the past in the past and keep the memories of that experience pristine. “There’s something that you want to preserve sometimes about memories,” she said. “And I feel like, the new ‘Wonder Years’ is such a different show that it doesn’t mess with the memories. It’s such a different show.”

“The Winter Palace” is currently airing only on GAC Family.

Danica McKellar, Candace Cameron Bure And More Send Love To Jodie Sweetin Over Big Engagement News

Although 2021 hasn’t been full of good news when it comes to the Full House family , Jodie Sweetin has officially delivered some exciting news! The actress, best known for playing Stephanie Tanner on Full House and then reprising the role for Netflix’s Fuller House, is now engaged to fiancé Mescal Wasilewski, and she made the announcement just days before her 40th birthday. She was all smiles in her post to spread the happy news, and fellow Full House alums, Hallmark stars, and more hit the comments to send their love.

Jodie Sweetin’s announcement of her engagement was very sweet, quoting Maya Angelou, including a sweet message to her now-fiancé, and noting that she’s going to like turning 40 soon. Before getting into all the congratulations from fellow stars, take a look at her Instagram post :

Candace Cameron Bure, who has played Jodie Sweetin’s on-screen sister D.J. off and on for decades, wasted no time in congratulating Sweetin on the good news. The actress has been open about her own relationship with her husband over the years ( to mixed reactions ), and Bure busted out some heart emojis to express her joy at the engagement news:

Jodie Sweetin responded to Bure’s comment with a comment of her own that is sure to make any Full House and Fuller House fans smile: “love you!!” And Bure wasn’t the only Full House alum who congratulated the newly-engaged actress. Although neither of the Olsen twins (who rarely release statements) have commented at the time of writing, Andrea Barber – whose Kimmy character was basically an honorary Tanner sister on Full House – had a message as well:

So happy for you! Congratulations!

Full House alums weren’t the only ones full of congratulations for Sweetin, either. Prolific voice actress and fellow Hallmark movie alum Danica McKellar also busted out a heart emoji, and her message was short and sweet:

Congratulations!!!

Another person to weigh in was another actress who found success at a relatively young age: Christy Carlson Romano. Known for her work on Even Stevens and voice role as Kim Possible in her animated series, also had some kind words for Jodie Sweetin. Romano, who actually hosted Sweetin on her YouTube cooking series back in 2020, wrote:

Ahhhhhhh! Yay!

Based on the “Ahhhhhhh!” I think it’s safe to say that Christy Carlson Romano is excited for Sweetin! Another person who didn’t hold back with his congrats to Sweetin is Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Keo Motsepe, who partnered with the actress on the ABC show back in Season 22 (and more recently made headlines for dating DWTS celeb dancer Chrishell Stause ), wrote:

Congratulations to u my sister. I love you

All things considered, Jodie Sweetin has already gotten to celebrate something huge even before turning 40 on January 19, and there’s no shortage of people who are happy to celebrate with her. In addition to the various stars who posted messages in response to her engagement announcement, her photo has already gotten more than 286,000 “likes” on Instagram in less than 24 hours, and plenty of comments from fans as well as friends.

Young Justice season 5: Everything We Know So Far

img]

Young Justice is an animated action superhero adventure TV series that originated in America based on a comic book titled “Young Justice” written and illustrated by Todd Dezago, along with Todd Nauck and Lary Stucker. The series is developed by Brandon Vietti alongside Greg Weisman which broadcasts on Cartoon Network with the debut season launched on November 26, 2010.

Although the tithe series shares the same title as the comic book, however, the series is not entirely focused on the said comic book but is inspired by an initial tale established in the DC franchise with a centre on teens and younger superheroes. It features the voices of Jesse McCartney, Khary Payton, Jason Spisak, Nolan North, Danica McKellar, and Stephanie Lemelin.

The series revolves around the lives of young superheroes and sidekicks in their teens who are known as Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, Red Arrow, and Artemis. They simply called themselves ‘the team’. The team is a bunch of teenage superheroes that bears a resemblance to the popular adult superheroes squad Justice League but performs outside of the system that restricts the more fixed superhero squad.

The primary background is a fictional universe distant from the last DCAU and other consistent existence during an era in which superheroes are a significantly new phenomenon, and the bad guys have all started up working in a team in a huge conspiracy on behalf of the villain The Light.

The series is very popular among the viewers and many are desperate to know whether or not the show will return with a fifth season. Here’s what we know about it.

Release date of Young Justice season 5: When is it?

When it comes to the fifth season’s release date, there’s little to no detail but we know that fans are demanding the fifth season and to make it happen as soon as possible. It’d be great if the show makers listen to the fans’ demands but so far we haven’t heard a word from them.

The first season of “Justice Young” was released on November 26, 2010, consisting of 26 episodes. The second season titled “Justice Young: Invasion” was launched on April 28, 2012. The third season titled “Young Justice: Outsiders” was divided into two parts. The first part aired on January 4, 2019, and the second part aired on July 2, 2019, on DC Universe. The fourth season titled “Young Justice: Phantoms” also divided into two parts premiered on October 16, 2021, while the second part is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022.

Coming back to the release date of the fifth season, it might take a while but probably, fans can expect the new episodes to land in late 2022 or in early or mid-2023 at the earliest.

The cast of Young Justice season 5: Who’s in it?

Likely, the core cast members that were seen in the previous seasons of Young Justice are highly expected to return in the forthcoming fifth season which means we’ll get to hear the same voices of Jesse McCartney, Danica McKellar, Nolan North, Khary Payton, and Stephanie Lemelin. Additionally, the new entrances from the previous season known as ‘the Outsiders’, will most probably make a comeback as well.

Keeping aside the other members, it’s unlikely that Wally West would return but nothing is confirmed by the show makers while we’re hoping for Jason Spisak to return in the fifth season. Here are the names of the cast which are expected to be back on the series:

Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing portrayed by Jesse McCartney

M’gann M’orzz a.k.a Miss Martian enacted by Danica McKellar

Conner Kent a.k.a Superboy will be played by Nolan North

Kaldur’ahm a.k.a Aqualad will be played by Khary Payton

Artemis Crock a.k.a Tigress portrayed by Stephanie Lemelin

Violet Harper a.k.a Halo will be played by Zehra Fazal

Victor Stone a.k.a Cyborg will be portrayed by Zeno Robinson

Brion Markov a.k.a Geo-Force will be played by Troy Baker

Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman will be enacted by Bruce Greenwood

Roy Harper a.k.a Red Arrow will be enacted by Crispin Freeman

Wally West a.k.a The Flash will be played by Jason Spisak

As for the plot for the fifth season, it will entirely depend on the conclusion of the fourth season part II. Till then wait patiently!
