According to NBC News, Erin died in a plane crash in March 2016. She was the only person on board and the plane took off from the Hawthorne Municipal Airport in L.A. and crashed in front of employees at Best Drilling and Pump, Inc.

A number of employees ran over to the plane trying to help Erin out of the plane. The article says that she had a heart attack when rescue crews arrived on the scene. She died after she arrived at a trauma center.

Florida gears up for a big recruiting weekend

Billy Napier and the new Florida coaching staff have momentum on the recruiting trail, landing signatures down the stretch from All-Americans in five-star safety Kamari Wilson, touted linebacker Shemar James, blue-chip safety Devin Moore and most recently four-star-running back Trevor Etienne.

The class now sits at 11 recruits, including Top247 defensive lineman Chris McClellan who was terrific over the weekend at the All-American Bowl. With three weeks until National Signing Day, Napier and company are looking for more.

This weekend could be pivotal in the program’s success as the Gators welcome in double-digit official visitors including five-star linebacker Harold Perkins, the No. 1 player in the country at his position. Currently committed to Texas A&M, the Louisiana native is high on Napier and what they were able to accomplish at the University of Louisiana including 34 victories over the last three seasons.

“He’s been highly interest in Florida,” Perkins uncle Alvin Walton said. “With the last coaching staff the visits never materialized.

“Coach (Billy) Napier is attractive, he likes Coach (Jamar) Chaney and Jabbar Juluke. Also him and the safety they signed Kamari Wilson are real close.”

While Florida looks to make a move with Perkins, they’re already in great position for the likes of California athlete Arlis Boardingham (also looking at Oregon and possibly USC), Alabama athlete Miguel Mitchell (battling Tennessee), and Oregon edge rusher Emar’rion Winston. Texas receiver Caleb Douglas is also slated to be in.

“What excites me about Florida is just the new era that’s coming,” Boardingham said. “I want to get out there and see what it’s about. The new staff is also what exciting me about Florida. I think that they stand very highly with me honestly.”

“The Napier hire definitely excites me about Florida,” Mitchell said. “I believe he’ll build a dynasty in The Swamp.”

“Getting to know the whole coaching staff and the school, I’m also really excited to get to know the process in which they plan on taking for that ending goal of a National Championship and understanding how I will fit in that process,” Winston explained. “Definitely not taking them lightly. I will be looking at them heavily in this process.”

Top247 safety Jacoby Mathews has been looking hard at Florida his whole process and the former LSU commit heads back down to Gainesville.

“They want to win,” Mathews told 247Sports at the end of December. “They have a Louisiana staff first and the one thing that stuck out to me the most was Coach C-Ray (Corey Raymond) from LSU, he and I have had that bond.”

Seeing Napier and his staff land at Florida made things “even better" regarding his thoughts on the Gators program.

“They make me feel even more comfortable, it’s a lot of cats from Louisiana and Coach C-Ray that’s a great DB coach and he can change a lot there. He said they’re going to make sure I’m right and I can come in and make plays and fit in the defense.

“I’ve talked to (Napier) a lot actually, me and him have been talking since he was at ULL.”

“When you break up but are still best friends,” Olsen captioned a TikTok video on Jan. 7, where he and Paget bobbed their heads to Drilla.

“Ugh. The first TikTok couple I care about,” someone commented.

“I am not OK with this!” another wrote.

“I’m done with 2022 already,” a user lamented.

“The past couple of weeks have been difficult for Chris and me, but ultimately, he’s my best friend and always will be,” Paget told E! News. “While we’re not boyfriends anymore, we’re excited to explore our new relationship moving forward. We thank everyone for their continued love and support, in a way, this is just the beginning.”

In his own statement to E! News Olsen said, “I’ll always have so much love for Ian. We’ve been through an incredible amount together, and we’ll always be connected in a beautiful way. While we’re going to take some time apart and grow as individuals — this isn’t the end of our time together, but a shift. I can’t wait to keep cheering him on.”
