With a line-up as beloved as adidas Yeezy’s, it’s easy to get caught up on past releases. And thankfully, the brand, too, loves their own creations, so much so that they often bring back some of the past years’ most beloved colorways. Next to return is none other than the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Blue Tint,” which is hitting a number of retailers tomorrow.
The colorway’s return offers nothing new save for a second chance. All of its original features remain in tow, with the SPLY-350 text hitting the side in bright red. The dotted line at the heel follows suit, breaking up the mix of white and grey neutrals that comprise the rest of the Primeknit upper. Then, across both the midsole and collar, the name earns its “Blue Tint” nickname with appropriate coloring.
For yet another look at the “Blue Tint,” see below. These are set to hit not just adidas.com/Yeezy but also a select set of retailers tomorrow, January 22nd.
In other news, the 350 v2 Pure Oat is landing much later in the Spring.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Was the Best-Selling Sneaker of 2021
]
For the second year in a row, the Nike Air Force 1 Low is the top-selling sneaker in the athletic industry.
The data for 2021 comes by way of NPD senior advisor Matt Powell, who specializes in athletic footwear sales. In his Sneakernomics breakdown of last year’s sales figures and trends, Powell highlights the year’s ten best-selling shoes in terms of revenue. The Air Force 1 Low, which makes the list nearly every time, took the number-one spot for the second consecutive year. There were many other commonalities with 2020’s best sellers, as all of the top-ten pairs were the same and only their rankings shifted.
The rest of 2021’s top movers, in order, include the Nike Air Max 270, Nike Air Vapormax Plus, Nike Revolution 5, Nike Air Max 97, Adidas NMD R1, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Vapormax Flyknit 3, Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, and Air Jordan 13 Retro. This means that Nike and its Jordan Brand subsidiary dominate nearly the whole list two years in a row, with the Adidas NMD R1 being the only entry from a competing brand.
It’s worth mentioning that due to the ever-changing distribution of product, it’s not possible to track every piece of footwear sold. Sales resulting from factors like Nike’s continued direct-to-consumer push and Kanye West’s Yeezy Supply e-commerce site are not included in these numbers. Instead, the data here pertains solely to footwear sold through point of sale methods.

1017 ALYX 9SM Fall/Winter 2022 Collection Milan Fashion Week
]
Ahead of the 1017 ALYX 9SM show in Milan, Matthew Williams took to Instagram to tease a few pieces from the anticipated Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
Among the pieces shown were a pair of rubber shoes that are somewhere between the Yeezy Foam Runner and Williams’ bold Mallow Wedge Givenchy shoe, injected with polymer and featuring an ergonomic upper, as well as a new pair of sneakers that could easily become ALYX’s most popular silhouette thus far.
Staying true to the label’s utilitarian aesthetic, the collection plays with a range of materials including leather, mesh, and the newly introduced shearling. Looking to the future, some of the shearling pieces have also been crafted to be reversible, allowing for flexibility in wear as well as a wider usage – an important move for the brand when it comes to sustainability.
The apparel juxtaposes sleek cuts with raw hems and stitching, combining colorful PVC materials with knitwear, but staying true to the label’s idea of uniform.
As for accessories, the 1017 ALYX 9SM signature rollercoaster buckle makes its way onto several pieces, including a bucket hat, and square leather bags reign supreme. Sporty glasses with a thick plastic frame are also in focus, alongside Williams’ own take on the Tabi shoe, which lands somewhere between a flip-flop and a mule.
All-in-all, the collection dubbed “FADE,” combines everything we love about 1017 ALYX 9SM. The experimentation with new materials and futuristic shapes is a welcomed addition to the brand, and we’re already counting down until the shoes hit shelves this fall.

Kanye West makes a strong statement with his latest outfit.
The “Monster” rapper was spotted while leaving SoHo Warehouse in Los Angeles yesterday in a look fit for the creative. For the ensemble, Ye popped on a black sweatshirt and a pair of black sweatpants for a uniformed slouchy getup. He accessorized with a singular black glove, a black backpack and a pair of sleek sunglasses. West also carried a Balenciaga shopping bag with him.
