Guess he didn’t accept her friend request.

Dakota Johnson claimed Jesse Eisenberg ignored her on the set of 2010’s “The Social Network.”

While chatting with co-star Andrew Garfield for Vanity Fair, Johnson, 32, recalled, “I remember sitting down with you guys when you were having lunch one day, and you asked me loads of questions.”

“You were really nice, and Jesse didn’t acknowledge me,” she added.

Garfield, 38, tried to offer an explanation, saying that Eisenberg may have just been trying to stay in character as Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook co-founder, 37, was notoriously portrayed in the film as haughty and rude.

“Oh boy, I don’t know. I feel like I need to defend him in some way,” Garfield said of Eisenberg, also 38. “There was maybe some of the Zuckerberg coming through in that moment.”

Garfield went on to say that Eisenberg “was probably overwhelmed by…” before Johnson jokingly interrupted him with, “By beauty!”

Johnson noted that she had a very small role in the movie, while Garfield and Eisenberg – who were bigger stars at the time – were definitely more preoccupied on set.

“You and Jesse were so busy on that movie,” the “Fifty Shades of Grey” star recalled. “I was obviously in it for four seconds, but I spent a few days on set just watching.”

Garfield also reflected on his friendship with Johnson, saying he immediately liked her when he saw her at an event.

“I remember seeing you at the afterparty, and you were just so lovely and energetic and excited to connect,” he remembered. “I felt the same way.”

Johnson played the role of a Stanford University student and the love interest of Napster co-founder Sean Parker, played by Justin Timberlake.

Garfield portrayed the role of Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin.

Dakota Johnson Needed to Take Shots to Get Through Filming ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Scenes

At times, shooting Fifty Shades of Grey could be difficult for the actors involved. The movie’s subject matter alone meant some pretty intense scenes for stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. However, the two got through these takes in their own ways. For Johnson, she had to turn to liquor to help her through certain scenes.

One of the ways Jamie Dornan got through filming certain scenes was by saying sorry to his co-star. And he did so more than once.

“I got through (sex scenes) in Fifty with a lot of apologies,” Dornan told The Notebook (via Toronto Sun.) “You have to keep the intensity there, but maintain professionalism. At the end of the day, we’re all human beings and it can be uncomfortable to film things like that. So I just tried to make light of it.”

But the Belfast star’s attempt at lightening up the mood was apologizing to Johnson during their more intimate scenes.

“If I was about to be doing something particularly heinous to Dakota, I would apologize in advance and say, ’I’m probably not going to derive a huge amount of pleasure out of this. I want you to know that,’” he confided.

But Johnson’s method for getting through her Fifty Shades scenes required a bit more than apologies.

In an interview with Marie Claire, the Fifty Shades actor revealed the kind of unconventional preparation that was needed for the Fifty trilogy. Depending on the intensity of the scene, booze was not uncommon for her pre-shooting ritual with Dornan.

“Most of [our preparation] is just really figuring out exactly how we’re going to accomplish the scene beforehand—so that there’s not a lot of waiting around while we’re both vulnerable,” Johnson shared. “But, if something is very, very difficult, it’s sometimes necessary to have a shot of something strong beforehand.”

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, Johnson disclosed her liquor of choice for Fifty Shades. She also revealed how her film partner, Dornan, would also physically prepare for the role.

“Shot of whiskey [and] mints,” Johnson said. “He [Jamie Dornan] does pushups and I just lay there and drink whiskey.”

Why Jamie Dornan was relieved to find out Emily Blunt didn’t watch ‘Fifty Shades’

Jamie Dornan and Emily Blunt collaborated with one another on the romance film Wild Mountain Thyme. Although Blunt had once persuaded her friend Dakota Johnson to do Fifty Shades, Blunt herself had never seen the film. A fact that Dornan was grateful for.

“Jamie was quite relieved that I had never seen the Fifty Shades films,” Blunt said in a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight. “And I hadn’t read the book. So I just said, ‘I’m so sorry. I’ve never seen those films.’ And he goes, ‘I am very relieved.’”

Blunt’s only impression of Dornan was in the work the actor did separate from Fifty Shades.

“I’d seen Jamie on The Fall and I’d seen him in Private War, and that was it really. So I didn’t have any sort of perception of him being this, you know, whatever Christian Grey was,” Blunt added.

James Corden offers jacket to Dakota Johnson to help her cover up, she says: ‘It’s nothing nobody hasn’t already seen’

Dakota Johnson’s quick wit and comebacks were on full display during her recent appearance on a chat show, where she floored the host with her retort.

The Fifty Shades star was appearing on a recent episode of the Late Late Show with James Corden. In a video posted by fan clubs on social media, dressed in a little red dress, Dakota seemed to be a little uncomfortable as she sat down on the couch opposite the host, James. He was quick to catch on to that. As the actor covered her legs with her hands, he asked, “Are you all right? Are you worried,” before asking the audience and the crew, “I think she is all right.”

James then offered Dakota his jacket to help her cover up. “Do you want my jacket,” he asked her twice. Dakota casually responded, “It’s nothing nobody hasn’t already seen.” The reply prompted a fit of laughter from James.

Dakota’s quip was most likely a reference to her breakthrough role in Fifty Shades of Grey, in which she enacted quite a few raunchy and intimate scenes.

In the past, the 32-year-old actor has opened up about doing intimate scenes on screen. In a candid interview with Vogue in 2017, she had said, “Maybe I have more of a European mindset about these things. I don’t want to see someone wearing a bra and underwear in a sex scene. Let’s be honest about it. People are naked when they f***.”

Dakota will be seen in three films this year, starting with the drama Am I Ok? followed by Cooper Raiff’s Cha Cha Real Smooth. She will also star as Anne Elliot in a big-screen adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel Persuasion.
