FORTNITE UPDATE: TILTED TOWERS, NEW GIANT AND MORE
In addition to the discovery of a previously unknown POI, a new legendary beast has also arisen on the island… Introducing Fortnite Battle Royale v19.10’s newest features:
KLOMBOS
The existence of a gigantic beast on the island has long been suspected, but it has yet to be discovered. Since then! And there’s more than one stomping about the Island than just “it”. Their massive size doesn’t deter these Klombos from being absolutely calm, no matter how large they may be. As long as it’s not provoked, of course.
What can these gentle giants do for you in the midst of a fight? Ascend their tails to reach to the blowhole on their heads, then get thrown a large distance aloft to escape a dangerous position. Sneezing can also occur after they’ve had a bite to eat!
KLOMBERRY IRRESISTIBLE
When it comes to food, Klombos will eat everything you put in front of them. However, Klomberries are their favourite treat! Pick these fruits from little plants throughout the Island, then throw one near a Klombo to lead it your way. Things spurt forth after Klombos have a snack! Have you inadvertently (or knowingly…) sparked a Klombo’s wrath? A Klomberry is all you need to soothe its anger.
Fun fact: Non-Klombos can benefit from eating Klomberries as well. Increase your Effective Health by eating one of these!
TILTED TOWERS ARE COMING BACK!
On the Island, the thaw continues, and the Tilted Towers have risen from the depths! Indulge in an urban adventure with this legendary POI from Fortnite’s past, including building up its famous clock tower, robbing eateries and parking garages (and even storming No Sweat Insurance’s office), on your urban expedition.
NEW AND IMPROVED GRENADE LAUNCHER
The Grenade Launcher are back and improved its responsiveness! It’s now possible to fire projectiles that burst after the initial bounce and hit your target with more precision.
Grenade Launchers may be found in Rare Chests, Supply Drops, and… sharks, among other places.
Crown
More than 99 Crowned Victory Royales may now be seen in the Crowning Achievement Emoticon. Before v19.10, if you had attained 99 crowns or more, your crowns were still being monitored and updated in accordance with this.
NOTES FOR COMPETITION
Competitive playlists do not contain the Klombo or the Grenade Launcher.
However, Klomberries are included.
Competitive playlists have been updated to include Shield Kegs.
Armored Walls have been added to competitive playlists, at a reduced pick-up limit.
MAJOR BUG FIXES
It was discovered that when players swung into web bouncers, Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters would be halted, and this is fixed.
When trying to watch a game as a spectator, some players were getting an error message saying that their “Network Connection Lost.” As a result of the problem being resolved, fans can once again join a game as spectators.
We fixed a problem that prevented healing from taking place when in a Tent. The ability to heal when sleeping in a Tent has been restored.
Campfires were not always healing players as a result of a previous bug fix.
DLSS is disabled in DirectX 11 because of a bug. The DirectX 11 DLSS feature has been re-enabled.
After returning from a non-core mode, players were unable to see their daily quests on the Quests menu.

Where to find Haven in Fortnite Chapter 3
]
Fortnite Chapter 3 continues to add new things to the map for players to track down. This includes new NPCs being added to the cast of characters already to be found on the map.
One of the new characters that can be found in the game is Haven, NPC 21. She can be located on the south side of the island, directly west of Chonker’s Speedway. There is a small lake there, with a hut to the west side, and Haven can be found here. She will sell you weapons, and a new item called Klomberries that can be fed to the massive Klombo Dinosaurs that are now on the map.
He will sell a Legendary SMG to anyone who wants it, along with some healing and shield items to help you overcome any injuries sustain on the pitch, eh, we mean during a game.
You can find the rest of the NPC locations below:
