Machine Gun Kelly swore he’d never fall in love—but then Megan Fox showed up and now he can’t get enough of it.
In fact, the rocker is so in love that he decided to propose to the Jennifer’s Body actress.
MGK popped the question on Jan. 11, Megan revealed on Instagram the following day.
“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” she wrote along with a video of the romantic proposal. “We asked for magic… We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”
The Transformers star continued, “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.”

The former couple became parents in 2012 when their first child, Noah, arrived, two years after their Hawaii nuptials. Bodhi and Journey were born in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
Between babies No. 2 and 3, the Transformers star filed for divorce from the BH90210 alum — but the exes reconciled ahead of their youngest child’s arrival. In May 2020, the duo ultimately called it quits.
“I will always love her,” the actor, who also shares son Kassius with ex Vanessa Marcil, said during an episode of his “…With Brian Austin Green” podcast at the time. “And I know she will always love me, and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special.”
While the California native moved on with Dancing With the Stars’ Sharna Burgess later that same year, Fox got engaged to Machine Gun Kelly in January 2022.

In a post of his own, the rapper wrote, “Yes, in this life and every life. Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me. I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two … as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
The Texas native, who has a daughter of his own named Casie, met Fox’s kids in 2020, a source exclusively told Us Weekly in September of that year. “Brian is pretty protective of them,” the insider added.

The former couple had an on and off again relationship that started in 2004.
In 2006, the duo then got engaged and following a brief split in 2009, tied the knot in 2010.
The couple then split again in 2015 before calling it quits altogether in December 2019.
“I will always love her,” Brian said on his podcast following their final split. “And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we have built is really cool and really special.
“It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change. There’s the unknown aspect . . . there’s that pit in my stomach . . . I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds . . . she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”
Their divorce was later finalized in 2021, however, they will always be linked by their children, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, with whom they share joint custody.

On January 12, 2022, Megan and Machine Gun Kelly announced their engagement on Instagram.
On a photo of MGK on one knee, Fox wrote, “He asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.”
She concluded her heartfelt post, writing, “…and then we drank each other’s blood.”
MGK later explained the meaning behind the unique design of her engagement ring in a separate post.
He said: “I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
At this time, it remains unclear when they two will walk down the aisle.
