Pokimane vs Ninja Beef Intensifies With Threats of Legal Action

The first Twitch beef of 2022 is here, and it has Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ wife, Jessica Blevins, reportedly threatening Imane “Pokimane” Anys with legal action. The beef originally began as Pokimane vs. Jidion “JiDion” Adams after the latter – who is also popular on Twitch, but is more known for his popular YouTube channel – instructed his fans, on December 13, to raid Pokimane’s Twitch stream with and spam “L + Ratio” in the chat. This led to Pokimane to prematurely ending the stream and JiDion getting temporarily suspended. And then on January 17, this temporary suspension turned into a permanent banning. You’d think this is where it would have ended, but not even close.

Ninja became involved with the drama when he addressed it all during a recent stream, giving JiDion some advice, which included suggesting to him not to instruct his followers to raid other streamers. Ninja even alluded to helping the YouTuber get out of trouble, noting he would contact those he knows at Twitch about the situation via text. What got Ninja in hot water, at least with Pokimane, was when he told JiDion that he can’t “ratio bhes.” Realizing the implications, Ninja quickly clarified he was using “bches” generally.

Pokimane wasn’t too pleased with what Ninja was doing nor his use of “b***ches,” saying that he wouldn’t use it if Pokimane was male. She also accused Ninja of trying to use his connections at Twitch to get JiDion’s ban lifted, something Ninja said he would do, but at the time, there was no evidence he did.

Now, is the part of the timeline when Ninja’s wife and manager, Jessica Blevins, gets involved. Taking to Twitter, Pokimane revealed a direct message allegedly sent by Blevins that threatened legal action.

“I think Jessica is trying to say that Ninja PRETENDED to text his twitch representative, which I’m willing to accept and cannot disprove,” added Pokimane in a follow-up to the tweet above. “I just wanted the clip out there to show what happened.”

After this, Pokimane also shared a direct message from Ninja himself, where Ninja swore he never contacted anyone at Twitch over the JiDion situation and noted that Pokimane was making a “big mistake.”

his manager then kept DMing me that Ninja never texted his Twitch rep, even after I sent her that clip. I spoke about this on stream and Ninja DM’d me this: pic.twitter.com/3rPsBSew4l — imane 💜 (@imane) January 18, 2022

For now, it remains to be seen what will come of this situation between Pokimane and Ninja. As for JiDion, he has since apologized and pledged to move on from the situation.

Throughout this whole situation I did a lot of corny shit, and I’m way funnier then the level I brought myself down to. Pokie i apologize and boys I’m dropping it so I’m asking you guys to as well. Will be streaming next week on YouTube and love you guys❤️ — Dijon (@Jidion6) January 17, 2022

Why is Ninja threatening to sue Pokimane for defamation after Jidion hate raid?

THE TWITCH drama around Pokimane and Jidion has blown up into a platform-wide conflict, and now Ninja is involved.

The Twitch streamer’s manager and wife, Jessica Blevins, has threatened Pokimane with legal action, accusing her of defamation for discussing Ninja and Jidion’s recent interactions.

Why did Jidion get banned on Twitch?

To give you a refresher, newly verified Twitch streamer Jidion got a two-week ban for hate-raiding Pokimane last week.

Jidon told his viewers to flock to Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys’ stream to troll her chat, but things escalated into Poki and her chat receiving toxic messages and being harassed.

Jidion’s ban has since been extended from just two weeks, to being permanently taken off the platform.

But now Ninja is involved and has come under fire for his own sexist behaviour, as well as seemingly supporting Jidion.

What happened with Ninja and Jidion?

During one of Ninja’s streams, Jidion’s fans were apparently in the chat asking the Twitch star to help out with the ban.

Ninja said he would message his Twitch account manager on Jidion’s behalf, seemingly doing do on stream.

“Alright, I sent the text,” he exclaims in a clip from the stream uploaded by Pokimane’s secondary Twitter account.

He adds that he can’t promise anything, as “what happened, happened.”

In another clip from the same stream (that Jidion is reacting to), Ninja says:

“Jidion if you’re listening, I need you to understand that you’re f**ked. I need you to set your expectations low… I’m going to do whatever I can.”

Ninja then addresses the camera to give Jidion some advice, saying that if he’s going to “raid b*tches” to stick to Twitter to avoid repercussions on Twitch.

Jidion took this as Ninja calling Pokimane a b*tch and ecstatically jumps out of his chair, screaming and laughing.

Why is Ninja threatening to sue Pokimane?

Pokimane later called Ninja out (via @JakeSucky) for helping Jidion try to evade his ban.

“I wonder if Ninja would’ve said ‘b*tches’ if it was a large male streamer that was hate-raided, but I digress.”

Ninja has since messaged Pokimane behind the scenes, and his wife and manager, Jessica Blevins also reached out insinuating they would take legal action in DMs exposed by Poki.

She tells the streamer that the pair are “considering everything defamation of character” and are getting their legal team involved.

“You are spewing lies to tens of thousands of people,” Blevins continues, before admitting that Ninja’s offer to help Jidion on stream wasn’t genuine and that he never reached out to his rep.

Pokimane has said that she has no idea if Ninja actually messaged his rep, but she’s clearly frustrated by the situation and escalating fallout.

For now, Jidion is still banned, and will likely remain that way if Ninja didn’t actually intervene, despite saying he would.

Activision Blizzard Will Be Acquired by Microsoft for $68.7 Billion in the Biggest Takeover Ever

On Tuesday, Microsoft Corp. announced that it will acquire Activision Blizzard, the producer of the “Call of Duty” videogame, for $68.7 billion in cash, making the Xbox manufacturer the third-largest gaming firm by revenue.

At $95 per share, Microsoft’s bid represents a premium of 45 percent over Activision’s closing price on Friday. At $65.39, Activision’s stock was up over 38% before being halted due to news.

In a press release, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said, “Gaming is the most dynamic and exciting category in entertainment across all platforms today and will play a key role in the development of metaverse platforms,”

Video game sales have increased as a result of the epidemic, as people who are confined to their homes are turning to video games to pass the time.

Microsoft’s Xbox gaming platform has an advantage over Sony’s Playstation because of Activision’s catalogue of popular titles like “Call of Duty” and “Overwatch”

Activision Blizzard’s CEO, Bobby Kotick, will remain in his position.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., a rival videogame publisher, said last week that it will purchase “FarmVille” developer Zynga for $11 billion in cash and shares, making it the largest acquisition in the industry’s history.

Jamie Lynn Spears mentions Britney apologized to her

Jamie Lynn Spears claims in her new biography to have gotten an apology from her estranged sister Britney Spears.

In a recent text from my sister, she stated herself: ‘I know it’s not your fault and I’m sorry for being so angry at you. Although I’m your big sister, I need you more than you need me and always have,” she writes in “Things I Should Have Said.”

Britney, 40, thought Jamie Lynn, 30, was not there for her during her conservatorship struggle.

In a June 2021 court appearance, Britney argued her family should be “in jail” for utilising her almost 14-year conservatorship, which was ended in November.

“I pray for the day she shares these words with the world,” Jamie Lynn writes of Britney’s purported apology. “I have no control over anything the media reports and cannot be held responsible for something I have absolutely no control over.”

They may have made amends at some time, but the release of “Things I Should Have Said” has rekindled old scars

The actress was “not surprised by this reaction because she has received this reaction from her family her entire life,” a second insider said.

Britney tried to resolve their disagreement by tweeting Saturday, “Come on !!! We are supposed to have each other’s back … but what you’re saying just truly confuses me !!! All I know is I love you unconditionally !!! So go ahead and say whatever you want … it’s so tacky for a family to publicly fight like this !!!”

“This is embarrassing and has to stop,” Jamie Lynn said on Instagram.
