It’s a big week for Hunter Schafer. After the debut of Euphoria’s second season premiere episode, the model and actress just landed a new fashion campaign. On Monday, Jan. 10, Prada officially revealed its Spring 2022 campaign, starring Schafer and titled “In The Mood For Prada.”

Inspired by the feelings evoked by the Italian fashion house’s newest styles designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, Schafer is captured donning a number of looks from Prada’s Spring 2022 collection, such as lace-up pieces, silk dresses, corseted ‘fits, and more.

In a recent Instagram post, Prada released an official campaign video directed by Ferdinando Verderi. Throughout the clip, Schafer talks through the emotions she experiences wearing a black dress adorned with a train. She is also seen wearing the gown with a khaki-colored leather coat and pointed black heels.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Euphoria star take on a Prada fashion gig. As the luxury label’s brand ambassador, she has also been seen in a past campaign its Galleria handbag, as well as joining co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons for a fireside chat after the Prada Fall 2021 show during Milan Fashion Week.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen “deeply saddened” by Bob Saget’s sudden death

The Row designers and former child stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have paid tribute to their former Full House co-star, Bob Saget, who was found dead in a Florida hotel room on Sunday. “Bob was the most loving, compassionate, and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has. We are thinking of his daughters, wife and family and are sending our condolences,” the duo said in a statement provided to Page Six. The 35-year-old stars played Saget’s youngest daughter, Michelle Tanner, on the show from 1987 to 1995. In the ensuing decades, the pair would regularly support the comedian, routinely turning out to his shows and charity events. While the cause of Saget’s shock death is unknown, authorities have confirmed there was no sign of drug use or foul play.

JW Anderson cancels physical runway show during Milan Fashion Week Men’s

The latest name to announce they will show digitally during the upcoming Milan Fashion Week Men’s is Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson. Instead of presenting a runway show next weekend, the team will shoot the collection digitally in London and share via the Camera Della Moda platform on Sunday at 8PM CET. Giorgio Armani also recently announced that he will not host live shows for this two menswear brands, nor will he show his Privé offering during Haute Couture week. As it stands, Zegna, Prada, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, 1017 Alyx DSM, Philipp Plein, and DSquared2 are all planning on showing in-person. A release from JW Anderson concluded that the brand “remains committed to Milan and will return in June with a physical show to present their mens SS23 collection.”

Kendall Jenner appears in Michael Kors’ love letter to NYC

Kendall’s back in the spotlight! For Michael Kors Collection Spring Summer ’22 campaign, A NYC Love Affair, the supermodel was lensed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin against the backdrop of the designer’s beloved Manhattan. According to the brand, the images, captured on the roof of Prospect Tower, signify the Big Apple’s endearing strength and ability to feel romantic no matter what. Which is particularly poignant these days! “When I think about what endures, it’s love—romantic love, but also love for your friends, your family and for your city,” the designer said in a release. “With this campaign, we wanted to bring to life urban romance and the unique juxtaposition of the strength and grit of New York City with the love that it inspires time and again.”

Marc Jacobs’ latest campaign brings together Lil Uzi Vert, Georgia Palmer, and Iris Law

Marc Jacobs has launched the campaign for The Monogram collection, a bold and logo-centric offering for Spring 2022. First introduced at the designer’s Fall 2021 runway show last June at the New York Public Library, the latest iteration of streetwear pieces includes canvas jacquard jackets, bucket hats, oversized layering staples, sweats, tube skirts, tote bags, and even balaclavas (hey, the NYC weather RN certainly calls for a fashion forward approach to keeping toasty!). The styles are modeled by Iris Law (daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost), as well as hip hop phenomenon Lil Uzi Vert and model Georgia Palmer. The range, from $95-$495, is available now. Get ready to see a lot of these looks on the streets during NYFW.

Hunter Schafer stars in Prada’s Spring Summer ’22 campaign

It’s the Euphoria cast’s world, and we’re just living it it. Fashion muse Hunter Schafer, who notably wore custom Prada to the premiere of the season two show last week, has been enlisted for Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’ latest campaign. Alongside models Julia Nobis, Lina Zhang, and Selena Forrest, Schafer appears in the David Sims-lensed series which serves as an “exploration of desire and sensuality” as it captures the protagonists getting dressed and ready to take on the day. It’s not the first time Schafer has been tapped by the brand either, having also attended the Met Gala last September as their guest. A match made in heaven, if you ask us.

Tom Holland stars in Prada’s Spring 2022 ad campaign

img]

Tom Holland is a busy man right now. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star has just finished promoting the massive MCU hit, and he also has several other film projects in the pipeline. However, he has also found the time to be the face of Prada’s 2022 Spring ad campaign.

Formed by Mario Prada in 1913, Prada is one of the most famous and prestigious luxury fashion houses on the planet, with many of its items, both new and vintage commanding high price tags and long waitlists. The 2022 campaign promotes the companies Spring Summer 2022 range of clothing.

This range was designed by two legendary fashion designers, Miuccia Prada, the current head designer of the Prada fashion house, and Belgian designer Raf Simons, who Kanye West credited with inspiring his Yeezy Season 1 collection.

The campaign is photographed by legendary British fashion photographer David Sims and directed by Ferdinando Verderi. The photos show Holland wearing several of the season’s new pieces, including a new suit and a stunning red jacket.

The video accompanying this campaign features many close-up shots of Holland dressing, showing how the fabric and details on the pieces move and shift while the outfits are being put on. While this plays out, Holland’s voice can be heard listing off steps, almost like he’s presenting a tutorial to the clothes.

According to Prada:

Tom Holland performs as ‘himself’ in a series of photographs by David Sims. In a re-contextualising of a figure world-renown for his action hero roles, Holland here becomes an embodiment of today’s Prada man.

The company is running a similar campaign for its female line. This campaign is fronted by Hunter Schafer, best known for playing Jules Vaughn in the hit show Euphoria. Schafer began her career as a model before landing the Euphoria gig that kicked off her acting career. This campaign is very similar to its male counterpart, and Prada explains it as:

Minimal diptychs present a cast of women – lead by the actor Hunter Schafer alongside models Selena Forrest, Julia Nobis, and Lina Zhang – captured in the act of dressing, or undressing. Striking details express a sense of closeness, drawing the viewer in. The picture plane is stripped back – our focus is on these women, their focus is on themselves.

Tom Holland is everywhere right now. However, this campaign shows why the actor is in such high demand. As he can make something great, no matter what he turns his hand to, be it pulse-pounding action or beautiful high-fashion.
