Fortnite Brings Back Tilted Towers, Adds Klombos

As leaked, speculated, and even teased, Fortnite has officially brought back the classic location Tilted Towers to the game’s snow-covered island in Chapter 3 Season 1: Flipped. A new update and set of patch notes went live earlier today, v19.10, and it brought with it the popular point of interest by simply thawing out that portion of the map, which is what was predicted by several leaks.

In addition to Tilted Towers’ return, the new update also brought with it the official addition of the previously leaked huge dinosaurs. Called “Klombos,” the creatures are apparently peaceful unless provoked. Players can get launched via their blowholes on their heads, but that’s not all they can do. Klombos will “sneeze out” items if fed a new fruit, Klomberries. The fruits will also calm provoked Klombos should someone accidentally draw their wrath.

Fortnite update v19.10 also unvaulted the Grenade Launcher with a slight adjustment. Projectiles fired from the Grenade Launcher will now explode after a single bounce while also generally firing more directly at whatever they are pointed out. It seems unwise to test this out on the game’s new dinosaur friends, of course, but there will surely be a fair amount of folks that give it a whirl regardless.

As noted above, Fortnite’s new patch, v19.10, is now available. In addition to the return of the Tilted Towers location, there are new dinosaur-like legendary creatures called Klombos stomping around the island that players can manipulate with a new fruit on the island called Klomberries. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1: Flipped is currently available and, more generally, the popular free-to-play battle royale video game is currently available on most major platforms in its latest form save for the iOS version. You can check out all of our previous coverage of Fortnite right here.

5 Best Fortnite Leakers You Should Follow

img]

The smartest decision that Epic Games ever made was to allow the best Fortnite leakers to thrive instead of penalising them. By letting leakers dip in and publicise the game’s files, accounts with millions of followers are basically giving Fortnite free advertising with pretty much a roadmap of all the interesting content coming to the game.

Fortnite leakers are really the primary source for all things Fortnite news, whether that’s the new skins coming to the Item Shop, any events that are on the horizon, or files that point towards the future of the game. We’ve even seen whole new chapters and seasons of the game being revealed ahead of the time thanks to these wizards, with them also just generally acting as good sources for wider Fortnite news too.

If you want the newest Fortnite leaks and information or just want to keep on top of everything that’s going on on Epic’s always changing island, here are the best Fortnite leakers you should be following.

The Best Fortnite Leakers

  1. Hypex

The second IO drill site has appeared at the bottom right of Greasy Grove, 3 more to go! pic.twitter.com/y86vYLceKy — HYPEX (@HYPEX) January 9, 2022

Probably the de facto Fortnite leaker, Hypex is the most popular source for Fortnite news and leaks in the world, with millions of followers across multiple platforms. If you want to be clued in on Fortnite, you really couldn’t ask for a better resource than Hypex.

From map changes to challenges to insider info to basically every little thing that you would want to know about Fortnite, Hypex has the scoop. He’s put his reputation on the line time after time with huge scoops and, well, the fact that he’s still so respected tells you that he very rarely misses.

  1. ShiinaBR

Thank you for an amazing 2021. Thank you to everyone who interacts with my tweets, to everyone who reads my tweets, and to everyone who supports me in the game. You all have been a huge part of this year for me & I appreciate you for that. Thank you for the great year. ❤️ — Shiina (@ShiinaBR) December 31, 2021

Shiina is a slightly less popular yet arguably more likeable alternative to Hypex who always tries to be positive about the current state of Fortnite, as well as someone who engages with the wider community and its creators.

Known for daily Item Shop updates, crossovers, general Fortnite news, map changes, file leaks, and even intel on what’s going down at Epic, ShiinaBR is a Fortnite leaker that you can always depend on to have their finger on the pulse of all things Fortnite.

  1. iFireMonkey

Here are some official images of sections of the Fortnite map without snow, these images can be seen on the following artstation gallery:https://t.co/0XHRK8Lkt8 Thanks @duerham for pointing this out in DMs pic.twitter.com/MLy2ql7KwS — iFireMonkey (@iFireMonkey) January 9, 2022

iFireMonkey is a hard-working monkey indeed, someone who covers a very similar beat to the first two Fortnite leakers on this list, while also being a somewhat comedic, aloof tinge to his updates. It’s hard not to be a bit goofy when you are a monkey who is on fire.

The best thing about iFireMonkey, though, is that he usually brings context to the leaks he provides, meaning that he explains how a new leak ties an old one, or references a random challenge when discussing lore and the wider Fortnite story. A very clever monkey.

  1. FN_Assist

Fortnite servers are currently experiencing some issues! This is currently affecting login, matchmaking, profiles and more. Expect it to resolve soon! pic.twitter.com/Hn5FUOvjow — FNAssist – News & Leaks (@FN_Assist) December 29, 2021

The least popular Fortnite leaker on this list, FN_Assist is exactly what you would want from a general Fortnite account: they just post the news, leaks, and guides you need, particularly when it comes to the latter.

Fortnite’s challenges (or quests, as they are now pointlessly called) are all assisted by the suitably named FN_Assist, with their curated guides making it clear for pretty much anyone. If you’re looking for a Fortnite leaker who’s a mix of everything in Fortnite without any distractions, this is the account for you.

  1. Tabor Hill

While not a leaker in the traditional sense, Tabor Hill is a YouTuber who seems to have a lot of inside knowledge on what’s going on in the game. He doesn’t leak files as such, rather reveals news ahead of time on his YouTube channel. He’s the one responsible for starting the hype train for Chapter 3 early.

He obviously can’t provide revelations for every video he puts out, but Tabor keeps both his social media and YouTube channel updated with all the latest Fornite while also providing generally fun content, including busting popular myths. He might not be to everyone’s tastes, but there’s no denying his output.

Plus, any friend of John Cena is a friend of ours.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Android.

The Heavy Shotgun Could be Returning to Fortnite in Chapter 3 Season 1

img]

There’s a chance the Heavy Shotgun will be coming back to the game in the near future.

Today saw the release of the 19.10 update. Tilted Towers has returned, we have a new dinosaur on the map, a new consumable item, and the Grenade launch has returned from the vault with some minor adjustments.

There’s also a “The Devoured” landmark location near Tilted Towers, which could expand during the season and could see the return of the Polar Peak monster that featured in the season 9 live event with the mecha robot.

A machine pistol has been leaked by data-miners and Epic Games have accidentally added it into creative mode. You’ll be able to find and use the new machine pistol prior to it’s official release, which is currently unknown.

The Heavy Shotgun was updated in today’s patch along with some other changes. It could be making a return based on these changes, especially with players unhappy with the auto shotgun that’s currently in the game even after the buff it received last week.

Fortnite Heavy Shotgun Coming Back

Epic don’t usually update weapons or items unless they’ll be making a return. The description of the Heavy Shotgun in Fortnite was changed to specify that the new version of the weapon will shoot only a single slug per shot.

The cross hairs of the shotgun were also updated along with received a better fire rate. Players that have seen this information on Twitter are already complaining that the shotgun has been ruined, but we’ll need to wait and see until it’s unvaulted.

It’s unlikely Epic would add the weapon back if it’s not a viable option to use in the current meta for chapter 3 season 1. Other weapons that are being changed include the LMG, and the thermal scoped assault rifle.

‘Fortnite’: What are Flare Guns and How Do You Find Them in the Battle Royale?

img]

“Fortnite” features a new weapon on the Battle Royale, and it is not something that brings a “ratatat” kind of firing action, as this one is a “go big or go home” type of equipment. Unlike other games, “Fortnite’s” Flare Gun is used for causing mayhem and protecting one’s self, being the handiest during the final moments of the game.

‘Fortnite’ Flare Gun: What is It and How Does it Work?

The news is out, and alongside the Batte Royale Hotfix version 19.01 is the arrival of the Flare Gun in “Fortnite.”

The new game mode invites players to discover a new weapon, and it is the popular sidearm that is mostly used for a stranded person in the middle of the ocean or most remote places. Flares may help light up the skies in harmless ways, but in “Fortnite,” it is to cause mayhem and get the best out of one’s opponents.

The Flare Gun gives off two functions, making it a two-in-one weapon. First is, when shot to the ground, it brings an intense fire that lasts like a Molotov Cocktail; Second, when shot towards the sky, the flare gun will ping and reveal the locations of enemy forces still alive in the match.

‘Fortnite’ Flare Gun: Where to Find It?

There are no exact locations for the Flare Gun to appear on the map, unlike the exotic or mythic weapons’ spawn locations already known to the gamers. However, the Flare Gun can be found in chests, on the ground, or Supply Drops says “Fortnite.”

The ground location of Flare Guns is best seen in places densely populated with loot, meaning that it would mostly be seen in places where people come often. However, take this note with a grain of salt as there are no accurate places for a flare’s spawn.

‘Fortnite’s’ Massive 2022 Releases

“Fortnite” has a good start this 2022, among other games, as it remains as one of the top online games in the industry now, featuring a lot of new additions to its content. Right before the year ended, “Fortnite” took out Chapter 2 and started with Chapter 3, a new phase of the battle royale with new maps, modes, and characters to offer.

This 2022, numerous additions to the game came for gamers to enjoy and access, including that of Netflix’s “Cobra Kai,” Boba Fett, and Marvel’s Spider-Man (and his many add-ons). New weather also plagues the famous game with tornadoes and twisters that shake things up, offering a new challenge for gamers, alongside surviving the enemies’ onslaught.

Epic Games truly outdid itself for “Fortnite’s” 2022 start, and it shows that with the flare gun that gamers are now enjoying and getting the hang of in-game. However, the deal now remains unknown if the weapon is staying for a long time or will it be a limited release from the developers, just for the first moments of Chapter 3.

Sniping is an invaluable skill when buying players in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team because it helps keep hold of some of those precious coins. Here’s a full guide on what sniping is, how to do it, and how to use it to make FIFA coins.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is all about filling out your team with the best possible players, from clinical strikers to clutch defenders. If you’re lucky, you’ll pull your dream player from a pack, but there’s a good chance you’ll have to tackle the Transfer Market instead.

While every player has a specific value, like any market you can secure a bargain if you put the time into sniping rather than just paying upfront. We’ve put together an in-depth guide on how you can snipe your dream team, and save yourself some coins in the process.

Table of contents

What is sniping in FIFA 22?

Simply put, sniping is the art of bagging a player from the Transfer Market for less than its usual value. This usually requires the user to act quickly and make the purchase seconds after the listing goes live.

Other FUT fans that are looking to sell a player quickly, or perhaps didn’t check the market properly, will occasionally list players for much less than they are usually worth. These are the listings you are on the hunt for.

How to snipe in FIFA 22

Type the player’s name into the search box in the top-left corner Check the market value of the player you want to snipe Adjust the Buy Now slider for the most you are aiming to spend Hit search and look at the listings Quickly try to buy the cheapest player who pops up Refresh and repeat

If you’re looking to snipe a specific player, the first thing to do is type their name into the search box on the top-left of the market screen. This means that only listings for that player will show up and you won’t accidentally buy the wrong man.

Then you’ll need to check the actual market value of whoever you’re looking for to get an idea of what sort of price filters you need to set up.

Once you know how much they usually sell for, head to the price filters on the bottom-left tile and adjust the Buy Now slider to slightly less. There isn’t a certain price that guarantees you’ll find a listing, so it’s best to set it for the absolute maximum you would be willing to spend.

From here, it’s just a case of refreshing the market until one pops up so you can move in for the snipe. There are thousands of other snipers who may be trying the same thing, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t win the battle every time.

How to refresh the market quickly

One of the hardest parts of sniping is being the first to get onto the market so you can snatch a player before everyone else. If you’re too slow, then you’ll find yourself missing out more often than not.

Luckily, EA have provided a way of refreshing the market quickly if you follow this step-by-step guide:

Set the Buy Now filter to the maximum number of coins you want to spend Adjust the Bid Price filter to 15,000,000 – the highest it will go Edit the filters to criteria you are looking for If no listings, or you lose out, quickly go back to the Bid Price fliter and move it down one Hit search again

Carrying out this method each time refreshes the market quicker than simply searching again with the same criteria. It takes practice to get the hang of, but the quicker you can pull it off, the more successful you will be.

How to make FIFA coins through sniping

While sniping is a great way to land a player for your Ultimate Team at a big discount, it’s also a way that savvier FUT fans can make easy coins.

By sniping lots of cards for a lower price, you can then re-list them back on the market for their actual value and net a tidy profit.

This can be a way to make small gains over a long period of time or make big bucks in one swoop if you’re able to snipe a high-value player for a lot less than he’s worth.

If your aim is purely to make coins, consider casting a wider net with your filters instead of looking for a specific card. For example, if French defenders are going up in value, search for all of them rather than just Kounde or Lacroix.

Who to snipe in FIFA 22

If you’re looking to sell cards to earn some coins, it’s best to go for those that are in demand.

That means sniping any players, managers, or consumables that are rare, needed for a Squad Building Challenge, have a high value, or are out of packs.

The market is always changing, but here are some transfer targets to get you started:

CBs with a high pace stat

Brazilian mangers

Hunter Chemistry Style

Players required for SBCs

French players

Silver cards from the top five leagues

Why you’re finding it difficult to snipe in FIFA 22

Even if you get the hang of sniping players, you may notice that they are often snapped before your fingers can react. There are a number of reasons why this could be happening.

The first is your internet connection. If there are multiple snipers all going for the same card at the same time, those with slower internet speeds will always find they come out in second place.

There’s also the issue of other users, especially on PC, bots to buy players automatically. These bits of software quickly snap up listed cards within microseconds of them going live.

Unfortunately, when it comes to snipe bots there isn’t much you can do other than try and hunt for a different card that may not be as obvious.

That was our full FIFA 22 Ultimate Team sniping guide. We’ll keep this page updated throughout the year with more helpful hints and tips when we find them.
