Anna tends not to post too often, but when she does, it’s a hit. Ahead, see the Pitch Perfect star’s New Year welcome and her best snaps.

Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick has a new love interest in her life. She’s wary of a person who doesn’t respect her limits after revealing her former relationship on the Ellen Show in 2017.

“I am here for whatever you need,” she stated, but she doesn’t like people who say that. She asserted that she is not in need of a guy. Because she likes them, she wants to have them.

That is until he says something to the effect of, why didn’t you take up my call. Let’s have a conversation every second, minute, and hour. That’s a bad thing. Next thing you know, they’re out there saying, “Anna hurt my heart.”

The person she is is a scumbag. Isn’t that the B-word? Then the female is referred to as a slut, and your followers are there to defend you. When you get on a hazardous ride, it’s hard to get off.

It’s no secret that Anna Kendrick was displeased in 2017 when she realized that her relationship with filmmaker Edgar Wright hadn’t taken shape. She stated he had his face plastered all over it. He was there, she claimed, as she sipped her coffee. He was there when she was having a nap. She stated it’s nice to have a support system around you.

Anna Kendrick with Ben Richardson, her longtime boyfriend. But you’re invading my personal space. Not at all. She recalled a time when she was barred from driving her own vehicle. In spite of her liking for the wheel, she was barred from sharing it with a guy just because she is a woman. After her split with Edgar in 2013, the actress declared she was not searching for a new man. It’s understandable that Anna Kendrick would fall for someone who treated her like a queen, but she couldn’t help herself.

Who Is Anna Kendrick Dating?

Cinematographer Ben Richardson is engaged to actress Anna Kendrick. On the set of Happy Christmas, Anna and Ben were drinking pals and struck up a conversation. In 2014, they began dating. Dinking dates are referred described as such because they never end. The same tavern has seen Anna and Ben several times.

And it was subsequently revealed that they had their first date at that very pub. As a result, they made a point of going to that tavern every month to commemorate their anniversary. In their interviews and conferences, the pair avoided discussing their relationship, yet they were spotted in public having charming, sweet moments together.

During their time together, they have seen bowling, and Anna won a few events. The only thing Ben could do was grin as he watched Anna enjoy the music and do her victory dance. Anna’s admirers captured the scene on camera. And they’ve got gold to show for it.

To What End Does Anna Lead A Low-key Existence?

In an interview, Anna stated that she has grown a lot since she started working in this field. She’s now a seasoned young lady. She claimed she understands how a relationship can be ruined by the heat of the limelight.

As well as posting a photo of yourself and your lover to express how much you admire and respect each other. Your relationship becomes a blog topic for a firm to write about the next day. After then, people begin to pass judgment. The entertainment world is buzzing about your thoughtful gift.

Someone inquired about Anna’s romantic status. As an ironic response, she replied she’d merely said she’d be quiet in general. However, on her birthday, she stated that she is not engaged and gave herself a small present.

She stated that if a man had offered her a diamond, she would not have waited. So she gave her a diamond ring as a token of her affection. However, Anna and Ben have been together for a long time, and they may be planning their wedding shortly.

Hollywood Rewind | A Simple Favor: A rollickingly good ride to the dark side

Filmmaker, writer and comedian Paul Feig is an old hand at making comedies (read Bridesmaids, The Heat, Spy and Ghostbusters). But 2018’s A Simple Favor was a different ball game. Sure, it had its moments of humour, but the plot twist was the calling card for this Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively-starrer. Again, a somewhat unique choice for its leading cast. Afterall, Anna is known for her comedic chops, but Lively, not so much. And this was a dark comedy thriller. As it turned out, both the lead actors did a stand-up job of portraying their parts.

But we are getting ahead of ourselves, first, a little about the story for the uninitiated. Anna’s Stephanie Smothers is a young widowed mother who is energetic, warm and self-deprecating. She is also a vlogger who (SPOILER) has slept with her half-brother. Her child goes to the same school as Emily Nelson’s (Blake Lively). But Emily is rarely present for any school activities which involve parents. However, one day, Stephanie and Emily’s paths cross, and the audience gets to see that Emily is the polar opposite of Stephanie. She is confident, self-assured, working woman who is always dressed in stylish power suits. She is also stunning, so is her husband and their very spacious house. Soon, they befriend each other and start spending time together, spilling secrets, which is when things go south, as they usually do in such scenarios. The rest of the narrative moves forward from there.

Usually, when one sees a thriller, you cannot help but keep guessing at every pivotal point who could be at fault here, or the mastermind? I did that too while watching the film, and Feig’s direction and Jessica Sharzer’s sharp screenplay (based on the book of the same name by Darcey Bell) kept me guessing till the end. Well, nearly. The turns and bends the story takes are quick, sometimes uncomfortable, but almost always intelligent. The characters’ desperation, their human frailties were also highlighted. No one is the heroine here, really (okay maybe Kendrick’s Stephanie is slightly). And the best part about the story was that the leads had equal footing in it. They really took on different shades of personality throughout the film which made you doubt your convictions about who was the worse person, because bad they both were.

Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively were the shining lights of A Simple Favour. Without their honest, entertaining portrayals of these deliciously flawed women, the ride would not have been nearly as satisfying as it was. Lively was a revelation, as far as I’m concerned. Sure, she is a beautiful woman who has charisma and looks great on screen. But can she pull off a meaty role? The answer to that question is a resounding yes. Watch it to believe it.

The movie also throws spotlight on the themes of parenting, and how, much like anything in life, it is a continuous learning process. We get the huge influence of social media as well, what with Kendrick’s Stephanie vlogging everything about the mystery as she goes along the dark, unpredictable road. Simply put, A Simple Favor packs in a lot of things within its two-hour run, giving plenty of room to its actors to show off their skills. So if it is an engaging, dark thriller that you are looking for, minus all the sad bits, then A Simple Favour should be your pick of the weekend.

A Simple Favor is available to stream on Netflix.

Talent representative and producer Jen Namoff has announced the formation of Namoff & Company, a talent management and production company that will represent artists in theatre, TV, film, and music in New York and Los Angeles.

Namoff is joined by Director of Operations/Talent Manager John Bautista and Creative Director/Producer Doug Middlebrook.

Namoff’s production credits include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (starring Daniel Radcliffe), Fiddler On the Roof (starring Danny Burstein), Submissions Only, The Last Five Years (starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan), Carrie at MCC Theater, and Into The Woods at the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park. ‘Twilight’: How the Miserable Weather Helped the Cast Bond Like a Family

img]

Though not everyone enjoys the subject matter in Twilight, many people are enamored with the look of the film. Shot in Portland, Oregon, nature provided a truly stunning backdrop for the movie. But filming in such rainy weather came with its fair share of challenges for the large cast and crew, especially since a lot of the movie takes place outdoors.

While The Twilight Saga would go on to become a global phenomenon, nobody expected the film to be as successful as it was. Thus, the first movie received a particularly modest budget in comparison to its four successors. This meant that Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke, had to shoot a lot of the movie in overcast weather because she couldn’t afford all the CGI to constantly make the vampires sparkle.

The dreary weather helped the ‘Twilight’ cast bond

But Hardwicke’s biggest weather issue wasn’t the overcast. It was the rain that made things a real nightmare, especially when filming the baseball scene, which featured all the vampires. “The weather did not cooperate,” Hardwicke shared with Insider. “And you can’t have pouring rain [because of] all the makeup drips; the hair. They just don’t look like the cool vampires in the pouring rain.”

In the aforementioned interview, Nikki Reed (who was cast as Rosalie Hale in the Twilight movies) recalled the miserable weather. However, she did share that weather helped her bond with her fellow castmates. “It was super chilly and we became this little family very quickly,” Reed remembered.

Anna Kendrick has a different experience about how the weather affected her fellow actors

Of course, some of that camaraderie may have faded after enduring the miserable weather for weeks on end. Anna Kendrick, who showed up near the end of filming to play Jessica Stanley, recalled it being a bit challenging to connect with her Twilight castmates.

“Wet and cold is not an environment conducive to making friends,” Kendrick revealed about making Twilight in her book, Scrappy Little Nobody. “Imagine if the first four weeks of a new job were spent outdoors in the freezing rain.”

Continuing on, Kendrick shared that some of her Twilight castmates did try their best to befriend her. “Kristen Stewart — one of the most committed actors I’ve ever worked with — made a valiant effort to be friendly, but I could tell she was putting her back into it,” she penned. “Underneath every word, I heard ‘You don’t know, man, you don’t know what it’s like out there.’”

Kendrick wouldn’t have done ‘Twilight’ if she knew how bad the weather would be

It didn’t take too long for Kendrick to understand why her Twilight co-stars weren’t their bubbliest selves. The Pitch Perfect alum had her own personal struggles with the weather herself.

“If you told me I had to be in that weather with no relief, I would have bailed like the little b**** I am,” Kendrick revealed. “Extreme cold messes with you. The elements don’t discriminate. And no amount of ‘you’re getting paid to do this’ matters when your body’s basic survival requirements are in play.”

Clearly, the weather presented a fairly large obstacle for those working on the Twilight movies. And while it doesn’t seem easy, we’re sure fans are happy the cast and crew stuck it out.
