Johnny Knoxville Says His Penis Still Works After Jackass Injury
]
Johnny Knoxville has sustained more bludgeoning than some professional fighters in his tenure as the star of MTV’s Jackass, and he has the scars to prove it—some of which are in the most tender of places.
In a recent interview with Variety while promoting Jackass Forever, the fourth installment in the wildly popular movie spinoff series, Knoxville spoke about one of the most painful injuries he endured in the name of entertainment, recalling the time in 2007 when he broke his penis after attempting to flip a motorcycle.
“I broke my gym dog a number of years ago,” he said. “That’s been well documented. So much has been said about so little… The doctor said a couple centimeters down and it would’ve been out of commission.”
The incident left Knoxville wearing a catheter for over three years, but he was quick to reassure readers that it is still fully functional.“But I’ve had two children since then, so it’s in great working order,” he said, adding: “That’s too much information.”
While Knoxville’s next project will see him taking part in WWE’s Royal Rumble, he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning for another Jackass movie if the audience demand is still there. “I mean, it could go on…we could do another one if we wanted,” he said. “I don’t know if we want to, but we could let the old guys come in and have fun, but put it more on the young cast. I don’t know. After [the first two films], we’re like ‘Never.’ And then there we made a third one and now we make a fourth one. So, we’re never saying never.”

WWE: Jackass star Johnny Knoxville stuns Sami Zayn with cattle prod

Johnny Knoxville brought a taste of Jackass to WWE SmackDown this week as he attacked Sami Zayn with a cattle prod.
The legendary stunt performer – who will be part of the 2022 Men’s Royal Rumble match on January 29 – has been feuding with the former Intercontinental Champion in recent weeks, and things got dialed up on Friday night.
Sami came out for the second edition of InZayn, his way of trying to match up to the Jackass Forever star, as he used a cattle proud on himself in the middle of the ring.
There were some terrible effects, and Knoxville saved the day as he came down to reveal the weapon wasn’t actually turned on.
Moments later, he stunned Zayn and then threw him over the top rope, maybe offering a hint at his Royal Rumble tactics next weekend.
Johnny has insisted he’s working hard to prepare for the iconic 30-man bout as he recently alluded to a pretty epic goal – besides winning the whole thing.
Appearing on WWE’s The Bump, he said: ‘I know what to expect – they should expect pain. I’ve been taking large truck tyres in my backyard and flipping them over the wall – about the weight of a Brock Lesnar.
‘My neighbours are really upset, but I’m stronger than ever. I do it, like, six to eight hours a day. I want the WWE to clear out the first three rows of fans because I’m gonna be chucking guys into at least the second.’
He claimed he’s not just looking to make up numbers – he’s got his eyes set on the ultimate prize and a moment of WrestleMania glory.
The winner of the Royal Rumble match gets a main event, world championship bout at the huge show in April – and Johnny wants to go all the way.
‘Not just an entrant – the winner of the 2022 Royal Rumble! World Champ! No, no, no – I’m confident,’ he said.
‘I have never been more confident of anything in my life that I will be in WrestleMania – that I am gonna be the last one in the ring in the Royal Rumble.’
WWE Royal Rumble airs Saturday, January 29 at 1am on the WWE Network.

Friday Ratings: ‘Shark Tank’ And ‘SmackDown’ Tie For Top Demo Honors
]
A cold winter’s night saw a unique divide between Sharks and Smacks, as ABC’s Shark Tank and Fox’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown tied atop the demo pool, each raising an 0.6.
Shark Tank’s new episode saw Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner, Daymond John and Barbara Corcoran duel over entrepreneurs pitching organic skincare, female swimwear, tools of convenience, and recycled jewelry.
Fox’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw Johnny Knoxville featured in the show ahead of his appearance in the Royal Rumble on Saturday, Jan. 29. That event streams live on Peacock.
CBS had a new Undercover Boss draw an 0.4 for The Vitamin Shoppe’s CEO as it guet star. That was followed by crime dramas Magnum P.I. and Blue Bloods, both drawing the same 0.4 and both down from prior new episode tallies.
NBC started it night with a repeat of game show That’s My Jam, with a new Dateline (telling the story of a rape victim’s long search for justice) tying perennial rival ABC’s 20/20 (examining “The Doomsday Preppers” child disappearance) in demos. Both had an 0.4
The CW had Penn & Teller: Fool Us come in with an 0.1, down slightly from its last new episode, followed by girl detective Nancy Drew, which soared to an 0.1 and was up substantially in audience size.
But the CW had some good news mixed in with those demo numbers; Penn & Teller hit a season high in total viewers, making it the most-watched episode for the show in more than a year. Similarly, Nancy Drew also hit a season high in total viewers in its best showing since last April.

Royal Rumble is inching closer – and this week’s SmackDown main event directly affected one of the show’s marquee matches.
Welcome back to the “Highs and Lows” of SmackDown, according to yours truly, for an episode that featured The Usos versus Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens:
Charlotte Flair versus Naomi (with guest referee Sonya Deville):
And Johnny Knoxville making an appearance on In-Zayn:
SMACKDOWN HIGHS
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins
Seth Rollins was on fire this week.
His promo at the top of the show masterfully straddled the line between heel and babyface, something quite necessary for a feud between two bad guys, and name-dropping Jon Moxley (rather than his WWE name, Dean Ambrose) wisely helped Seth gain favor with fans.
Rollins and Kevin Owens also had the crowd eating out of the palms of their hands during the main event, despite being two heels, and it was the first time in a while where you could see the audience wanting to cheer for Seth again (like old times).
I’m assuming he’ll get a similar reaction next Saturday at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis against Roman Reigns.
Having Seth and KO win the main event match to bar The Usos from ringside at Royal Rumble was a nice touch as well. A Universal title match of that caliber deserves to have as clean of a finish as possible. I’m excited for it.
Naomi gets a match against Sonya (hopefully)
In a previous edition of the “Highs and Lows,” I asked for some advancement in the storyline between Naomi and Sonya Deville.
This week, we got it in the form of Naomi vs. Sonya being booked for next Friday’s SmackDown, therefore it’s only right that I include this on my list of highs.
However, since I’m a big fan of both Naomi and Charlotte Flair, I would’ve loved to have seen their match get a bit more time. These two can go, and letting them display it would not only benefit us, the viewing audience, but Naomi as well in showing that she’s a future threat to the SmackDown Women’s title.
Eric Bischoff colluding with Adam Pearce backstage regarding Sonya Deville intrigued me, as well. He’d be an interesting replacement for her backstage role should Deville return to the ring full-time.
It’s also possible his appearance meant absolutely nothing, and I’m looking into something that isn’t there. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Johnny Knoxville
As I’ve mentioned previously, I loved Jackass growing up, so I can’t help but enjoy the appearances Johnny Knoxville has been making on WWE TV ahead of the Royal Rumble. Early 2000s nostalgia is right in my wheelhouse (and I have the When We Were Young festival tickets to prove it).
Yes, the electric shock bit with Sami Zayn was a little cheesy, but it was the good kind of cheese. Not fancy like gruyere or gouda — more along the lines of spray cheese, and if you pretend you don’t enjoy spray cheese, you’re lying to yourself.
What was I writing about again? Oh, right, SmackDown.
SMACKDOWN LOWS
Too many rematches
Madcap Moss versus Kofi Kingston, Natalya versus Aliyah and Sheamus versus Ricochet were all rematches from last week. In my opinion, that’s just too many for one show.
While it may have been nice to see Kofi get redemption for his loss, their match essentially made Moss’ win last week pointless after only seven days, and Big E being there didn’t make a whole lot of sense.
Similarly, Ricochet losing to Sheamus again did nothing but hurt his chances of being seen as a credible threat to other Superstars in the future, especially considering this match was much shorter than their last encounter.
