WWE Legend Hulk Hogan Gets Body Slammed on Twitter Over Spreading Misinformation on Vaccines
]
Hulk knows a thing or two about jabbing himself.
Legendary wrestling personality Hulk Hogan joins the likes of Novak Djokovic and Kyrie Irving in saying that they are not vaccinated against COVID-19, and the WWE legend did not hold back in his mistrust of the vaccine.
The Hulkster recently told his fans that he is not in favor of the COVID-19 vaccine.
“We may not need the vaccine,” Hogan told his Facebook following. “Betty White [aged 99] and Sidney Poitier [aged 94] were also vaccinated. They are falling like flies, but the authorities will not tell us that.”
His comments come after he suggested that the recent death of actor Bob Saget was linked to the actor’s vaccination status.
Twitter let him have it:
I love how Hulk Hogan has the gall to blame the deaths of 99 year old Betty White and 95 year old Sydney Poitier on being vaccinated. As the meme going around says, this vaccine is the only time @HulkHogan has turned away a needle, brother. — KeepUpWithKayfabe (@KeepUpWithKFabe) January 11, 2022
“People are dying after they get vaccinated. Just last week, two people died in a fire and one got run over by a truck. They don’t talk about that.” – Dr. Hulk Hogan — Smite!⚡️ (@7Veritas4) January 11, 2022

Of course Hulk Hogan… who took steroids for years and told kids that they were “vitamins”… is anti-vax. Like, somehow that’s the most obvious thing in the entire world that I didn’t technically know until right now, but have somehow always known. — Elie Mystal (@ElieNYC) January 11, 2022

Hulk Hogan is now not only racist but also an anti-vaxxer who thinks Betty White & Sidney Poitier died because they’d been vaccinated. 🤦♂️ He really makes it impossible to remember the good times he had in wrestling. — Kenny McIntosh 🏳️🌈 (@KennyMcITR) January 11, 2022
Sometimes they just satirize themselves… Hulk Hogan seems to suggest that Betty White, age 99, died because she was vaccinated. Dear Hulk Hogan,
Betty White and Sidney Poitier didn’t die because they were vaccinated, but because they were old. However, the early deaths of so many wrestlers were often attributable to all the steroids you guys took. You’re wrong on this one…brother! — Brian O’Sullivan (@osullivanauthor) January 11, 2022

Jimmy Hart gives update on Hulk Hogan after health issues
]
Jimmy Hart is good friends with Hulk Hogan and recently talked about his current health status as well as how their friendship began. The WWE Hall of Famer had good things to say.
Jimmy Hart recently spoke to the Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw podcast where he discussed a variety of topics. He explained how he became friends with Huk Hogan in WWE, back when it was called WWF.
“Well, I originally met him in Memphis. I didn’t know him that well. Then we met back in New York. He said, ‘I thought you were coming in to manage me.’ I said, ‘No. I’m coming in as a heel manager.’ I had King Kong Bundy, who I had in Memphis, and Jim Neidhart. Hulk and I didn’t travel a lot together because of the babyface/heel, but we bonded. I went to his house and did the little parties with him and helped set him up. Then we cut a wrestling album together, The Wrestling Boot Band. “We always bonded doing stuff. Then he would take me along the trips that he would go on. He would say, ‘I want Jimmy Hart to be with me for this’, because he knew I didn’t drink, do drugs, or be around any of that stuff. With Hulk, we would always sit and talk about a certain thing. What do you think about whatever, and then try to make it better.”
Hulk Hogan had some big health issues recently. Jimmy Hart provided an update on the WWE legend.
“Well, he’s doing a lot better. Still, after 12 back surgeries, hips, and knees, he’s doing so much better. He’s been taking this therapy every week and it’s been really improving him more and more so he can get up and get about pretty good now. He still looks good. He always has the hair and has the tan. His upper body is unbelievable. He always looks the part. He can still do an interview at the drop of a hat. He knows what to say and when to say it. He is such a magnet. People love him no matter where we go. It’s crazy.”
It’s good to hear that the WWE legend is doing well and still himself. Jimmy Hart will be provided updates on his friend as he gets better.
Jacques Rougeau Recalls Slapping Hulk Hogan So Hard His Tooth Loosened
]
Jacques Rougeau recalls the promo segment leading to their infamous match at the Molson Centre that saw Hulk Hogan’s tooth loosened by an excited slap!
During his time in WCW in 1997, Jacques Rougeau had the rare honor of getting to defeat then WCW World Heavyweight Champion in a non-title match in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec during a show he ran for his own promotion.
Speaking to Inside the Ropes’ Keith Elliot Greenberg for issue 15 of Inside the Ropes Magazine, the former Mountie recounted how an angle leading up to their match at the Molson Centre saw him slap Hulk Hogan so hard that he inadvertently loosened one of the Hulkster’s teeth.
“We built up the match really good. All the press was there when he came into the airport, and before he got in his limo, I did an angle where I slapped him in the face. I was excited and I did it so hard, I loosened his tooth.”
Despite this mishap, Hogan showed respect for everything the Rougeau family had done in Montreal and insisted on losing to his opponent, which was out of character for the World Champion.
“But when we got to the building, he said he wanted to do the job for me. I thought he was joking. But he meant it. I let him beat me up the whole match, and then, I won with a small package. The place went crazy. Everyone still remembers it. Hulk told me he did it because of everything the Rougeau family contributed to wrestling in Montreal.”
While respect for the Rougeaus certainly played a part in Hogan’s decision, Rougeau revealed the Hulkster’s manager Jimmy Hart had another idea of why his client may have decided to put over the Quebec native.
“But Jimmy Hart said Hulk Hogan respected me for what happened with Dynamite Kid, how it just stopped all the terrible ribbing that was going on. Because a guy like Dynamite, being on steroids and everything, he could have ribbed Hulk, too.”
Jacques Rougeau has spoken in the past about the fact that Hulk Hogan was not a fan of the attitude of the British Bulldogs, the tag team comprised of Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith.

It seems as though Hogan’s stand got under The Iron Sheik’s skin. He retaliated by calling out Hogan on social media, terming him as “The biggest Jabroni on earth”.
Sheik is known for using the term “Jabroni” for jobbers and individuals he doesn’t particularly like. Additionally, he used a throwback picture to reveal what he would like to do to Hogan for his comments.
Now, it’s possible The Iron Sheik jumped to a conclusion that was unnecessary. However, it’s not just him. Several fans on Twitter have called out Hogan on the same. But, The Hulkster has not responded to anyone about the same or clarified his reasoning for his stand in any shape or form.

Hulk Hogan defeated The Iron Sheik to become the WWE Champion for the first time
Back in 1984, The Hulkster challenged The Iron Sheik for the WWE Championship (WWF Title). At this match, Hogan managed to escape the Camel Clutch and defeated The Iron Sheik.
