Is Master P really broke? A look at his net worth after Wack 100’s claims

Wack 100 recently shocked the hip-hop world after claiming rapper Master P was “broke”.

The Los Angeles-based music manager never hesitates to speak his mind – and his fans love him for that. However, it looks as though the hip-hop man may have taken things too far this time.

During his recent appearance on Clubhouse, Wack 100 claimed Master P was “broke”.

What did Wack 100 say about Master P?

“Master P’s broke,” Wack 100 said during the conversation, before adding: “He can’t hold a candle to Nick Cannon,” referring to the comedian’s net worth.

The music executive received pushback from the show’s panel following his comments but stayed firm on his claims and added: “First of all, he doesn’t own his masters, they took them 18 years ago.”

Wack also claimed Master P doesn’t have 20 per cent of Nick Cannon’s money and compared the Louisiana rapper to Birdman (US rapper also known as Baby), saying: “P ain’t never been Baby. P has never in his life had the kind of money Baby had.”

Despite Wack 100’s outspoken claims, he didn’t provide proof to support his allegations.

Is Master P really broke?

Despite Wack 100’s claims, it seems highly unlikely that Master P is broke.

Celebrity Net Worth and several other outlets estimate the New Orleans rapper is worth at least $200 million.

Moreover, the rapper is the owner of multiple businesses. Master P recently launched a venture called The Ice-Cream shop, which involves installing self-service ice cream machines.

Posing next to one of the machines for an Instagram post, Master P wrote in the caption: “Use your God-given talent to help others. That’s how true success is measured. Wealth is not about money, it’s about knowledge and wisdom.”

The rapper is also in the shoe business. He sells sneakers through his company Moneyatti.

The Em-cee also owns the brand Uncle P Foods, which sells products such as pancake mix, baking soda, flour and cereal.

To top all that, Master P is also part of the 2022 No Limit Reunion Tour that will feature the likes of Silkk The Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, Fiend, Mr Serv-On and Choppa Style.

HITC reached out to Wack 100 and Master P for comment but, at the time of publication, had yet to receive a reply.

Lori Harvey went bold for her birthday dinner.

The model celebrated turning 25 with a bash at Nobu Malibu on Monday night, where she dressed to impress in a pink-and-black printed Prada jumpsuit ($2,700) paired with a matching shoulder bag ($2,450).

The second-skin style puts Harvey in good company; catsuits are having a major moment right now, with stars ranging from Cardi B and Kim Kardashian to Taylor Swift and Sandra Bullock all putting their own spins on the sultry trend.

Megan Thee Stallion even modeled the black-and-white version of Harvey’s Prada onesie on Instagram back in October.

As Page Six reported, Harvey’s boyfriend, Michael B. Jordan, planned and paid for the surprise bash despite being unable to attend himself — likely because of his work on “Creed III” as both star and director.

A partygoer told us that the model’s manager, Tre Thomas, made an announcement at the party: “[Michael] loves you and can’t be here tonight, but enjoy your night. It’s on him.”

Added our insider, “He really wished he was there.”

Harvey’s famous friends Normani and Ryan Destiny were in attendance, however, as was the star’s stylist, Maeve Reilly.

And while Jordan, 34, couldn’t be there to celebrate, we’re hoping for more high-fashion outings from one of Hollywood’s most stylish couples in the months to come.

‘Batwoman’ Recap: Season 3, Episode 8 “Trust Destiny”

In the Batwoman mid-season premiere, Pamela Isley finally makes her first appearance. Sophie, Luke, Ryan, and Renee work together to find a solution for Mary. Meanwhile, Marquis seems to have his own mysterious agenda. Read on to find out what happens in “Trust Destiny.”

Poison Ivy 1.0

Dean Buscher/The CW

It’s 10 years ago, and Renee still works for GCPD. She and her partner search for Pamela Isley. Pamela appears, but Renee doesn’t shoot, giving Pamela the opportunity to impale Renee’s partner with a vine before disappearing again.

In the present, Renee visits Mary’s now plant overrun clinic. She spots a flower that sends her back into a flashback. In it, she confronts Pamela about what happened with her partner. He’s not dead, but Renee is angry. Pamela is relatively unphased. Renee wants the pre-Poison Ivy Pamela back, but she’s gone.

Mary and Alice have some self-care, sister bonding time in a fancy hotel room. The hotel manager arrives and tells them to leave, as Mary has racked up a major charge she can’t pay for. She uses her powers to compel the manager to let it slide. Mary vents about how Luke and Ryan cut her off, annoyed that now that she’s not vying for their attention, they won’t leave her alone. Alice says the best way to get them off her back is to make them hate her.

Meanwhile, Luke, Ryan, and Sophie have set up a new home base with Renee, who argues with Ryan about what happened with Mary and Marquis. Ryan tries to justify when Renee tells her what happened with Pam. Renee thinks they need a tougher approach, sharing how Batman helped create a serum that stopped Poison Ivy and dessicated (but didn’t kill) Pamela. If they can find the serum, they can help Mary. Ryan is reluctant, but Luke and Sophie are on board.

Luke shows them a map of how to find journals Bruce kept with the information they need. But since Marquis took over Wayne, security is iron clad. Right on cue, Marquis calls Ryan. Again, she tells him he needs help, but he doesn’t seem to care anymore. (He’s grown quite unhinged since we last saw him.) Someone interrupts and lets him know about a mask for a party. Then he thanks Ryan for what’s happened. After they hang up, Ryan tells the group she thinks Marquis is hosting a party at Wayne. And they’re going to crash it.

Party Crashers

Dean Buscher/The CW

Luke, Ryan, and Sophie go over their cover stories in the elevator. Luke hands them their masks, and Ryan’s is equipped with a retinal scanner. They enter the party where they’re each handed a playing card. As they move through the crowd, Luke manages to get information from someone’s tablet, and Sophie gets a shot glass with Marquis’ fingerprints. Marquis begins to make a speech and the group realizes the party is some sort of interview. He calls out a card and questions the first person, who fails. Luke tells Ryan she needs to get closer to get a good scan. So, when Marquis calls the next card, Ryan sneakily swaps hers and heads up. She gets through the questioning and gets the scan without incident.

Sophie, Ryan, and now Renee head to the bat cave. While in the elevator, Ryan is annoyed that Renee is there, who reminds Ryan she just wants to help. Ryan accepts the help but isn’t happy about it and wants Batwoman’s named cleared after this. When they arrive to their floor, they take out the security guards and head down into the cave.

Luke lets the trio know Mary is at the party. They’re not finding much from the journals until Ryan notes they’re chronological. She asks when Renee first asked Batman for help and it leads them to find an entry about the city dam. Renee flashes back. She remembers finding Pamela packing to leave. Renee wants to know what her plans with the dam are and that Pamela needs to choose between flooding the city or Renee. Pamela says Renee, but she won’t stop her plan and needs Renee’s support. Pamela notices a flower Renee brought. The two kiss just before Renee injects Pamela with the serum.

In the present, Sophie remarks Batman needed to keep Pamela somewhere hidden but with easy access. Ryan realizes exactly where that is. She turns her attention to the tangled mound of branches that sits in the center of the main part of the cave; Pamela has been in the bat cave somewhere.

The Heartbeat of Wayne

Sophie offers to let Renee out, but Renee declines; she wants to help. Batwoman begins scanning all of Wayne and isolates a specific sound: a heartbeat coming from the lowest part of the tunnels. The trio heads down and finds a particularly interesting cluster of branches. They break it open and find Pamela, still desiccated. Batwoman still struggles to wrap her head around doing the same to Mary, but Sophie and Renee remind her why they need to. Batwoman extracts the serum and heads back up, leaving Sophie and Renee to make sure Pamela doesn’t reanimate.

Sophie assures Renee that Pamela will forgive her. Renee then leans into Alice, saying that she’ll mess up and ping a traffic cam. This prompts Sophie to remember a fraud alert she received earlier. She checks the charge and sees that it leads back to a hotel. She leaves to go check it out. When she arrives, she realizes Alice lured her there. Alice tells Sophie that Renee has been lying to all of them, adding that Sophie will find what she needs in Renee’s office.

A Dance to Remember

Mary approaches Marquis. The two snark back and forth, and Mary tells him she’s there for him. They dance and Marquis wonders where Ryan is. Mary calls this and his general clinginess to Ryan out. She continues that he doesn’t need to worry about Ryan; she’s too busy trying to fix Mary. Then Mary tells Marquis that she wants revenge and he’s the one to help her. She whispers something to him that makes him stop in his tracks before she leaves.

Marquis confronts Luke and reveals he knows Luke is Batwing. A couple security guards surround him. Meanwhile, Batwoman finds Mary on the roof. Just as she’s about to inject Mary with the serum, Marquis arrives with Luke at gunpoint, revealing he also knows Ryan is Batwoman. He brings up the bus and Joker incident again. Just before he’s about to shoot Luke, Batwoman throws the serum injector at him. Mary gets away as Marquis begins to dessicate.

Truth Will Out

Back at the hotel, Mary tells Alice about what happened, and that Ryan seemed afraid of the serum. She’s upset that she was the least of Batwoman’s problem because she just wanted Batwoman to see her as powerful. Alice shares that since the Poison Mary era began she hasn’t experienced any delusions, and that’s powerful.

Sophie gets into Renee’s file cabinet and finds the joy buzzer. While she does, Luke and Batwoman bring Marquis to the clinic. Batwoman calls Jada to let her know she has Marquis. Sophie calls Luke and tells them about the joy buzzer and that Renee was only using them to get Pamela back. Speaking of, Renee talks to Pam when a flower blooms. Renee asks if Pam can hear her before kissing her. Pam wakes up and then they’re gone.

Batwoman airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on The CW, available the next day on The CW app and cwtv.com. Find our previous recaps and the rest of our coverage here.

Trust Destiny Recap 1/12/2022 7:00 pm

Batwoman is back and it feels like we are just slamming the gas petal down now. Mary seems to have embraced her poison ivy persona and is teaming up with Alice, Jada has lost control of Marquis and his plans to take over Wayne Enterprises were successful! Now all parties involved are going to slam together in a twisted masquerade party hosted by our newly corrupted Marquis! Of course at the center of all of this is the real Poison Ivy who’s going to make her debut very soon. If you haven’t seen her already, TVline.com has an exclusive first look at Batwoman’s take on Poison Ivy, but first, let’s jump into “Trust Destiny”, here’s what stood out to us:

10 Years Ago: We open with Renee Montoya hunting down Poison Ivy, she hesitates to act against her due to their romance but it ends up getting her partner killed. Alice and Mary are stealing a hotel suite in Metropolis but when the hotel tries to throw them out, she uses her new powers to allow them to stay. In a flashback, we see Renee and Pamala and learn her partner didn’t die but lost a kidney. Renee begs Pamala to remain the quirky scientist but she can’t while nature is threatened. Team Batwoman meets with Renee and they discover there might be a cure for Mary if they can find where Pamala is buried. The team let slip who Batman was and Renee is shocked. Marquis calls to gloat to Ryan and Ryan has an idea to crash the party. Twisted Job Interview: The party turns out to be a job interview to replace the board of directors that Marquis fired. The team is able to get in and get enough bio data to fake Marquis’ security and get into the bat cave. They meet Marquis enforcers at the top of the tower where Sophie, Renee and Ryan take them out. Ryan asks Renee to turn around when she opens the cave. Back at the party, Mary arrives. Batman’s Journals: Luke alerts the crew that Mary has arrived. She walks right past Luke and goes straight to Marquis. He is intrigued with her new look and gives her an audience. Ryan asks when Renee asked for Batman’s help. We are then treated to a flashback of when Renee and Pamala had to break up. Renee’s duty to protect the city was too great and she was the one that used the desecrater on Pamala. Ryan then goes on to hypothesize that Pamala was buried in the Bat cave. Poison Ivy: Ryan, Renee and Sophie head deep into the bat cave to find Poison Ivy. Meanwhile, Mary takes up Alice’s idea to do something so mean and unforgivable that her friends will give up on her. While we don’t hear it, it is implied that Mary tells Marquis who Ryan really is and how to get into the Bat Cave. Just as she starts to make her exit, Sophie locates Poison Ivy. Dominoes Start to Fall: Marquis knows that Luke is at the party and that he is Batwing. He has his team detain Luke. Renee stays to guard Pamala and Sophie heads to intercept Alice at her apartment. Marquis takes Luke up to the roof where Batwoman is trying to save Mary. Marquis is about to kill Luke when Batwoman throws the cure into Marquis dehydrating him. Mary escapes and Ryan learns she told Marquis her secret. Alice claims that Renee lied about her plans with Pamala.

In the final wrap up moments of the show, Mary returns to Alice and drinks champagne. She wanted Ryan to see Mary as powerful but Mary was the last thing on her mind with Luke and Marquis up there. Renee asks for forgiveness from Pamala and kisses her waking her up. Sophie heads to Renee’s office to find out that Renee was always going to free Pamala. How Batwoman Just Made Marquis And Ryan’s Rivalry Much More Interesting

img]

Warning! The following contains spoilers from the Batwoman episode “Trust Destiny.” Read at your own risk!

Batwoman had two versions of Poison Ivy on the loose in its latest episode, sort of. Poison Ivy is, of course, a name that speaks for itself, but I daresay both versions were outshone by Marquis Jet, who effectively crowned himself as Batwoman’s version of the Joker. Marquis and Ryan’s rivalry just got a lot more interesting, and it’s thanks in large part to Mary .

Mary seemed to embrace her Poison Ivy persona well enough and used her influence to invade Marquis Jet’s party/job interview for a new Board of Directors. The two shared a lovely dance, and Mary whispered in his ear something that was very intriguing. That little something turned out to be the identities of Batwoman and Batwing, and now Marquis knows all about his sister Ryan and Luke’s side gigs.

The information all led up to a rooftop showdown, in which Batwoman held Mary hostage in an attempt to dissuade Marquis from killing Luke. Ultimately, Ryan’s only play was to use a serum to dehydrate Pamela Ivey (who is also Poison Ivy like Mary), which immediately incapacitated Marquis and, according to Luke, might kill him.

Luke isn’t sure Marquis’ death would be a bad thing, and I’m sure many Batwoman viewers agree. At the very least, Marquis is aware that Luke and Ryan are Batwing and Batwoman and possibly any more information that Mary knew like the location of the Bat Cave. Marquis Jet openly admitted he wanted to be the Joker to Ryan’s Batwoman, which is a pretty terrifying admission.

It’s clear that Marquis Jet can’t be allowed to fulfill his Joker fantasies, but at the same time, Ryan just can’t let her brother die. As she mentioned earlier in Batwoman, it’s still not certain if Marquis was always headed down this path or his childhood encounter with Joker (and his joy buzzer) is the root cause for all of this. If it’s the latter, it doesn’t seem right to let her brother die when there’s a chance his condition might be reversed, or at the very least managed.

Unfortunately, Ryan and Luke don’t really have an answer for how to save Marquis, stop his violent tendencies, or solve the problem of him knowing both their identities. Plus, they now have to worry about stopping two Poison Ivys, as the episode’s end saw Pamela Ivey brought back from her desiccated state by Renee . Basically, Batwoman has some major issues to face ( thankfully not behind-the-scenes ) in the back half of Season 3, so it’ll be interesting to see how she solves them.
