Fortnite Chapter 3: Tilted Towers Set to Return in Patch v19.10
]
It’s finally happening – Epic Games has confirmed that Tilted Towers will return in tomorrow’s patch v19.10 update.
Fortnite Battle Royale captured the attention of gamers worldwide back in 2017. It quickly became the most popular title, drawing millions of viewers and players each year after its release. The game’s building mechanics and unique weekly updates were the foundation of Fortnite’s success. However, nothing became more iconic than the various landing spots and locations spread across the Island.
One location – Tilted Towers – is perhaps the most recognizable point of interest (POI) in Fortnite history. It first debuted during Chapter 1 Season 2 on January 17, 2018. From that point forward, Tilted Towers became the catalyst for viral songs, YouTube videos and Twitch streams everywhere.
Beginning tomorrow, some semblance of what fans remember as Tilted Towers returns to Fortnite. The details are unclear at this point, but the Epic has confirmed that the legendary POI will resurface in Chapter 3 Season 1 Patch v19.10.

OG Fortnite fans might remember the chaos that awaited players at the original Tilted Towers. It separated the good and great players, as only the best could make it out alive. Of course, there are the timeless tournament clips of Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff and Aydan “Aydan” Conrad dueling in the Summer Skirmish before teaming up to dispatch all challengers in the Fall Skirmish.
No matter your memory of Tilted Towers, it’s unquestionably the most well-known landing spot ever. Tilted Towers underwent multiple changes over time. It became Neo Tilted in Chapter 1 Season 9, Tilted Town in Chapter 1 Season X and even came back as Salty Towers in Chapter 2 Season 5. Now, Tilted Towers comes back to Fortnite in the first season of Chapter 3.

Where we droppin? The v19.10 update is scheduled for release on January 18th. Downtime will begin at 04:00 AM ET, with matchmaking being disabled 30 minutes before. https://t.co/A4FSKoDp1r — Fortnite Status (@FortniteStatus) January 17, 2022
It’s unclear what version of Tilted Towers we’ll see early tomorrow morning when the patch downtime concludes. The location is currently covered in ice at the Frosty Fields landmark. Several data miners early this season discovered that Tilted would return once the ice melts.
We’ll have to see what happens tomorrow morning after Epic Games deploys patch v19.10. Content creators such as NICKMERCS and Aydan have already teased a Fortnite stream when Tilted Towers comes back to the game. Other legends such as Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Jack “CouRageJD” Dunlop have been on the Fortnite grind of late.
At the very least, we can expect a resurgence of old players as Epic Games brings back Tilted Towers in an entirely new chapter of Fortnite Battle Royale.

Activision Blizzard Will Be Acquired by Microsoft for $68.7 Billion in the Biggest Takeover Ever
On Tuesday, Microsoft Corp. announced that it will acquire Activision Blizzard, the producer of the “Call of Duty” videogame, for $68.7 billion in cash, making the Xbox manufacturer the third-largest gaming firm by revenue.
At $95 per share, Microsoft’s bid represents a premium of 45 percent over Activision’s closing price on Friday. At $65.39, Activision’s stock was up over 38% before being halted due to news.
In a press release, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said, “Gaming is the most dynamic and exciting category in entertainment across all platforms today and will play a key role in the development of metaverse platforms,”
Video game sales have increased as a result of the epidemic, as people who are confined to their homes are turning to video games to pass the time.
Microsoft’s Xbox gaming platform has an advantage over Sony’s Playstation because of Activision’s catalogue of popular titles like “Call of Duty” and “Overwatch”
Activision Blizzard’s CEO, Bobby Kotick, will remain in his position.
Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., a rival videogame publisher, said last week that it will purchase “FarmVille” developer Zynga for $11 billion in cash and shares, making it the largest acquisition in the industry’s history.

Jamie Lynn Spears mentions Britney apologized to her
Jamie Lynn Spears claims in her new biography to have gotten an apology from her estranged sister Britney Spears.
In a recent text from my sister, she stated herself: ‘I know it’s not your fault and I’m sorry for being so angry at you. Although I’m your big sister, I need you more than you need me and always have,” she writes in “Things I Should Have Said.”
Britney, 40, thought Jamie Lynn, 30, was not there for her during her conservatorship struggle.
In a June 2021 court appearance, Britney argued her family should be “in jail” for utilising her almost 14-year conservatorship, which was ended in November.
“I pray for the day she shares these words with the world,” Jamie Lynn writes of Britney’s purported apology. “I have no control over anything the media reports and cannot be held responsible for something I have absolutely no control over.”
They may have made amends at some time, but the release of “Things I Should Have Said” has rekindled old scars
The actress was “not surprised by this reaction because she has received this reaction from her family her entire life,” a second insider said.
Britney tried to resolve their disagreement by tweeting Saturday, “Come on !!! We are supposed to have each other’s back … but what you’re saying just truly confuses me !!! All I know is I love you unconditionally !!! So go ahead and say whatever you want … it’s so tacky for a family to publicly fight like this !!!”
“This is embarrassing and has to stop,” Jamie Lynn said on Instagram.
Pro Sports Leagues Are Chasing Gen Z Where It Plays
]
“It’s critical to reach a younger portion of the fan base,” said Chris Marinak, M.L.B.’s chief operations and strategy officer. “They have the longer span of fandom. We need to do a better job of communicating to Gen Z what it means to be a fan.”
Tim Ellis, the chief marketing officer of the N.F.L., added, “What we know is that if you don’t acquire a fan by the time they’re 18, you’re most likely never going to get them.”
The Luker findings highlight what the leagues are up against. Children who have grown up during the past 15 years have never known a world without smartphones that allow them to connect to the internet anywhere. They don’t have to sit down at the family computer to play a game or check out the latest celebrity news or sports teams. They have a computer in their pocket.
That easy access to video games and social media platforms has taken a toll on participation in youth sports: In 2018, only 38 percent of children ages 6 to 12 played team sports on a regular basis, down from 45 percent in 2008, according to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association.
The pandemic sapped the enthusiasm of young athletes even further: In 2021, 28 percent of parents with children in youth sports said their child was not interested in playing sports, up from 19 percent the year before, according to a survey conducted by the Aspen Institute’s Sports & Society Program.
