The Drive Angry star beamed proudly in the snap as she stood barefoot on the blue floor of a gym.

In April 2021, the Never Back Down actress began prepping for the upcoming sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Aquaman and documented her workouts on Instagram.

Amber previously said that she exercised for up to five hours a day while getting ready to play the Atlantean queen in the first film.

In August, the mother of one posted a photo in which she was seen in the same leggings and sports bra as she laid on the floor following her training.

‘Another day at the office,’ the actress wrote in the caption.

Heard is reuniting with Jason Momoa for the next installment of the Warner Bros./DC Entertainment movie, which officially wrapped production yesterday.

Last year, fans of her ex husband Johnny Depp demanded that she be axed from the superhero franchise.

The former couple’s relationship has been laid bare following their very acrimonious split in 2017.

But while Depp was dropped from the Fantastic Beasts franchise over allegations of domestic abuse towards Heard, Aquaman producer Peter Safran told Deadline they had never considered replacing her.

She’s back: Last year, fans of her ex husband Johnny Depp demanded that she be axed from the superhero franchise, something producer Peter Safran said was never considered

Backlash: ‘I don’t think we’re ever going to react to, honestly, pure fan pressure. You gotta do what’s best for the movie,’ Safran told Deadline.com

‘I don’t think we’re ever going to react to, honestly, pure fan pressure. You gotta do what’s best for the movie,’ Safran said in July 2021.

‘We felt that if it’s James Wan, and Jason Momoa, it should be Amber Heard. That’s really what it was,’ Safran continued.

He added that the producers were, ’not unaware of what is going on in the Twitter-verse, but that doesn’t mean you have to react to it or take it as gospel or accede to their wishes.’

‘You have to do what’s right for the film, and that’s really where we landed on it,’ Safran stated.

Stepped away: The ex couple’s relationship was laid bare following their very acrimonious split and Depp was dropped from the Fantastic Beasts franchise over allegations of domestic abuse

Fans started calling for Heard’s dismissal after her ex-husband Depp filed a libel lawsuit against the UK tabloid The Sun for branding him a ‘wife beater.’

Depp ended up losing that lawsuit, with the court ruling in favor of The Sun, which lead to the actor stepping away from his role as Gellert Grindelwald in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts 3, with Mads Mikkelsen replacing him.

Heard herself addressed the campaigns to get her removed from the film in November 2020, stating they had, ’no basis in reality.’

‘Paid rumors and paid campaigns on social media don’t dictate [casting decisions] because they have no basis in reality. Only the fans actually made Aquaman and Aquaman 2 happen. I’m excited to get started next year,’ she said.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set for a December 16, 2022 release date.

Hawaii-born actor Jason Momoa lends voice to ‘Malama Aina’ campaign

Hawaii-born actor Jason Momoa, the star of “Aquaman,” has lent his voice to a public service announcement urging others to care for nature in Hawaii, and to be mindful of invasive species.

The Hawaii State Film Office asked Momoa, 42, and Warner Bros. Pictures to produce the PSA as part of an ongoing “Malama Hawaii” series while filming for the “Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom” sequel in the islands. Momoa, who was born in Nanakuli, was happy to oblige.

“They were eager to do this,” said State Film Commissioner Donne Dawson in a news release. “The film industry is critical to the economy in Hawaii and we always want to make sure, particularly when they are shooting on state lands such as at Manoa Falls, they understand and appreciate the importance of caring for our natural and cultural resources. Jason obviously understands this, so this was not a big ask of him and Warner Bros.”

In the 30-second-long PSA, Momoa said he’s thrilled to be back home.

“We’ve got to malama aina…take care of the land and this beautiful place we call home,” he says in the PSA. “Be mindful of all the invasive species that are choking out the aina. Help us keep them out of our beloved valleys and favorite hiking trails.”

The production crew spent several days shooting sequences at the popular Manoa Falls Trail, which is part of state’s Na Ala Hele Trails and Access System.

Hawaii has often been called the “endangered species capital of the world” due to threats from invasive species, which are not native to Hawaii and harmful to the environment, economy or human health.

The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources keeps a list of these invasive species, which include coqui frogs, little fire ants, coconut rhinoceros beetles, and devil weed, miconia, and albizia trees, but also popularly known animals like Jackson’s chameleons.

Marigold Zoll, Oahu Branch Manager for the state Division of Forestry and Wildlife said they were grateful to Momoa and the production company for recording the spot.

The Oahu Invasive Species Committee recommends hikers and trailgoers help prevent the spread of invasive species by cleaning mud and dirt from footwear, bikes, vehicles, and gear before and after traveling along park trails.

Travelers should also declare all produce, plants, and animals when entering the state and traveling between islands.

“The message to malama Hawaii is unique to our state and important for visitors and kamaaina to hear often, as a reminder to protect and preserve our natural and cultural resources,” she said. “These are the very things that bring millions of people to our shores every year. Hearing this message from an actor of Jason Momoa’s stature really helps get the message across.”

The PSA can be downloaded for free to television stations, cable systems, community television, web platforms and social media sites.

To report an invasive species, call 808-643-PEST or go to 643pest.org.

Warner Bros has been one of the top studios in Hollywood over the decades, churning out hit films one after the one. However, the production house has also been associated with numerous controversies over the years.

There have been numerous such instances in recent times, and fans are so unhappy that they are venting out against the studio on social media. Right from the removal of Ray Fisher from The Flash and Johnny Depp from Fantastic Beasts 3, the exit of Ben Affleck as Batman and the latest episode of Peacemaker, there were multiple reasons. The fans expressed their displeasure by trending ‘Boycott Warner Bros’ on Twitter.

Netizens trend ‘Boycott Warner Bros’ on Twitter, vent out against the studio

While the origin of the ‘Boycott Warner Bros’ or ‘Boycott WB’ trend was not clear, the reasons were not one. Some were unhappy over Ray Fisher, who played the superhero Cyborg, being dismissed from the upcoming The Flash following his accusations of racism against Justice League director Joss Whedon, who had replaced Zack Synder.

WB fired Ray Fisher for standing up against their racial abuse. #BoycottWB — Stallion #RestoreTheSnyderVerse (@Spagggs) January 14, 2022

I’ll never support a studio who fired an artist cause he spoke against the racism and workplace harassment. #BoycottWB pic.twitter.com/lQcjlqWHSS — 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝐒𝐧𝐲𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 (@Itssan17) January 14, 2022

It seems there was a spike in the tweets after Ray Fisher accused Geoff Johns, writer of numerous DC films and series, of being a racist. This was amid news of the latter’s association with Flashpoint Beyond.

Geoff Johns is still a racist.

Some also used the hashtag ‘Restore the Snyderverse’ along with their ‘boycott’ messages, hoping to see an extension of Zack Synder’s version of the DC characters, after Zack Snyder’s Justice League, also known as ‘Snyder’s Cut.’

Some of the other comments were of the studio not extending their associations with numerous actors and directors. One posted an image of Ben Affleck and Christopher Nolan, who worked with the studio on The Dark Knight franchise. Ben Affleck quitting as Batman was another reason for one of the fans.

Among their other grievances, was the ongoing legal dispute between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Some were not pleased over the former being removed from Fantastic Beast, but the latter still being a part of Aquaman 2.

The latest series, Peacemaker, too landed in a controversial zone. One stated that the character, who gets hired by the government to restore peace, even if drastic measures be used, as ‘problematic and that was the reason to boycott the studio.

Watched the first episode of PEACEMAKER and I thought it was pretty great.

Sadly, however, the main character is #problematic and therefore I refuse to dig into the nuances of why he operates this way within the narrative, and therefore have no choice but to boycott Warner Bros. — Josh McCormack (@JoshMcCormack2) January 15, 2022
