(Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and Michelle (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen). One of the most popular sitcoms of the eighties and nineties, the series was consistently in the Nielsen Top 30 for most of its run and gained even more popularity in syndicated reruns.

Actor and comedian Bob Saget was beloved for his role as Danny Tanner on the original series and in the recent reboot Fuller House, his stint hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos, from 1989 to 1997, and as narrator on How I Met Your Mother. He passed away at the age of 65 on January 9.

On January 9, one of America’s favorite TV dads Bob Saget passed away at the age of 65 in Orlando, Florida.

Bob’s sudden death immediately prompted a wave of tributes from celebrities and fans alike, which have all commemorated his kindness and unique ability to make people laugh. Notably, the Full House star was remembered by many in the comedy world, including fellow comedian and Family Feud host Steve Harvey. While appearing on , Steve got emotional discussing the loss of the actor.

“We were on shows together on television. We used to do press junkets. It’s crazy because the dude that you see on TV that’s not who that was. The father on Full House, now that’s a different dude.” Steve told Jimmy.

He added: “He was an interesting guy, but what’s crazy is my staff just told me today he emailed me two days ago and they read the email to me this morning, and he wanted me to come do this new podcast [called ]. He really respected the moral stances that I’ve taken. He was just talking about all the good times we had and they read the email to me so it was a little hard today. He was a great dude.”

Trying to bring a bit of levity to the moment, Jimmy quipped, “It’s hard for me too because he didn’t ask me to do his podcast.”

Steve’s interview with Jimmy came after the late-night host said his own kinds words about Bob. “If you had to pick one word to describe him, that was it: sweetest. I have so many wonderfully kind and supportive texts and emails, calls from Bob,” Jimmy declared. “He always had a compliment. He would write sometimes just to tell me he loved me, and I know he did that for many people.”

Thank you, Jimmy, for taking the time to talk and reflect on such a wonderful person. Bob Saget was a legend and we’ll all miss him dearly. ❤️”

Steve and Jimmy weren’t the only celebrities to honor Bob’s legacy. While the main cast of Full House shared their own tributes to Bob on social media, the stars — namely, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber, Scott Weinger and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — and Full House creator Jeff Franklin released a joint statement earlier this week.

Who owns the house in Full House?

FULL HOUSE was a beloved television program that originally took place from 1987 until 1995.

In 2016, a follow-up series entitled Fuller House premiered on Netflix.

2 The Full House home is located in San Francisco, California

Who owns the house in Full House?

In 2016, Full House showrunner Jeff Franklin purchased the famous home featured in the sitcom.

His original plans were reportedly to remodel the home into an exact replica of the set used throughout the series.

Due to complaints from neighbors about the increase of tourism in the area, Franklin put the home up for sale.

In October of 2020, the Full House home sold for $5.35million, to a new, unnamed homeowner.

The 3,728 square foot house features three stories, a master suite with a fireplace, walk-in closet, and spa bath, as well as views of the San Francisco Bay.

Located on Postcard Row in San Francisco, the home has four bedrooms.

Who starred in Full House?

Full House features single father Danny Tanner, who is forced to raise his three daughters alone following the death of his wife.

His brother-in-law Jesse and best friend Joey move in to his home to help him with the kids: DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle.

Throughout the series, relationships come and go, and Jesse eventually gets married and has kids of his own - they remain living under the Tanner roof, however.

Starring as Danny Tanner was the late Bob Saget, who suddenly passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Uncle Jesse is portrayed by John Stamos, and Joey by Dave Coulier.

DJ Tanner came to life through Candace Cameron, with Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie and the Olsen twins taking turns playing Michelle.

Lori Loughlin was cast as Aunt Becky - the girlfriend and eventual wife of Stamos’ character.

The best friend and next-door neighbor of DJ, Kimmy Gibbler, saw Andrea Barber in the role. DJ’s boyfriend, Steve, is portrayed by Scott Weinger.

The Sheriff’s and fire departments responded to the hotel around 4pm ET, after a security team member - who was sent to his hotel room as requested by the Saget family - found Bob unresponsive.

Bob was declared dead at the scene. His cause of death is still undetermined.

A preliminary autopsy that was performed on the morning of January 10, 2022 said: “At this time, there is no evidence of drug use or foul play.

“The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete.”

The medical examiner’s office announced when the autopsy report has been finalized, “a follow up press statement will be released.”

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office took to Twitter to announce his death on Sunday evening.

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have been the victims of a break-in at their LA house, with burglars stealing jewellery reportedly worth $1million.

According to TMZ, the When Calls The Heart star and her fashion designer husband’s home was raided on January 3.

The couple was reportedly out at the time, with the break-in and theft discovered by a housekeeper.

The publication reports that law enforcement sources said a bedroom window was smashed for access, and the thieves were dressed in black and wearing masks, which was picked up by the property’s surveillance cameras.

The 57-year-old actress’s jewellery box was allegedly stolen during the break-in, which was home to her expensive collection.

At the time of reporting, police say they are unsure whether or not the high-profile couple were specifically targeted, or if they were victims of a random burglary.

Reps for Lori told TMZ that she was ‘thankful no one was hurt’, adding that the death of her Full House co-star Bob Saget last week, at the age of 65, had put the burglary ‘in perspective’.

‘She says material stuff isn’t the most important thing in life, it’s family and love,’ they finished.

Lori attended Saget’s Hollywood Hills funeral on Friday alongside her Full House castmates including John Stamos, as well as Kathy Griffin, Judd Apatow, Dave Chapelle and chat show host Jimmy Kimmel, who was recently overcome with emotion while talking about his friend’s death.

The Full House cast issued a statement saying: ’35 years ago, we came together as a TV family, but we became a real family.

‘And now we grieve as a family.

‘Bob made us laugh until we cried. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob.

‘He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us. Bob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob’s honor, hug the people you love.

‘No one gave better hugs than Bob.’

The post was signed by stars Lori, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Scott Weinger, Mary-Kate, and Ashley Olsen, as well as series creator Jeff Franklin.

Since the burglary, it’s said that Lori – who returned to acting in December in When Calls The Heart spin-off When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, following two months in prison after the college admissions scandal involving her daughter – has upped her security to 24 hours a day.

The investigation continues.

Metro.co.uk has contacted LAPD and a rep for Lori Loughlin for further comment.
