Olivia Munn may be silencing cynics about her surprising romance with comedian John Mulaney by posting joyful family photos of them with their new baby boy, Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney, born the day before Thanksgiving.

The Malcolm photos, showing Munn to be the picture of maternal bliss, may serve another purpose, making it hard to believe that the “Predator” actress was ever in a high-profile relationship with controversial Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

To some fans, the photos confirm that she “dodged a bullet” when she and Rodgers, 38, broke up in 2017 — given his stunning fall from grace in November when it was revealed he had lied about COVID-19 vaccination status.

Certainly, the ex-lovers are experiencing widely divergent starts to 2022.

Munn, 41, just released a new movie, “Violet,” which played on Netflix and garnered generally positive reviews. She also has Malcolm and seems to be happy in her relationship with Mulaney, 39.

The “Saturday Night Live” comedian doesn’t necessarily fit the more hunky, athletic profile of Rodgers and Munn’s other past boyfriends. He and Munn also have faced questions about the health of their romance, because he has been in and out of rehab for drug and alcohol addiction over the past year, and because their romance blossomed when he was ending his 7-year marriage to artist Anna Marie Tendler.

Meanwhile, Rodgers is said to be happily engaged to actor Shailene Woodley, although the two haven’t been seen together in public since their famous vacation to Maui last May with friends Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry.

Things are even more intense for Rodgers professionally. The Packers are entering the play-offs for the Super Bowl, and he’s a top contender to be named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the second year in a row.

But in the court of public opinion, this honor would be highly divisive. Up until November, Rodgers was one of America’s best known and most widely regarded sports stars. But after Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19, he gave an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” in which he went on a bizarre, anti-vaccination rant. The Chico-reared ex-star for the Cal Golden Bears became the butt of jokes and the object of national scorn, with a New York report accusing him of disseminating COVID misinformation.

Sports writers and fans say that Rodgers showed himself to be an arrogant, narcissistic crackpot with a persecution complex who railed against the “woke mob,” while boasting about getting his COVID treatment advice from conspiracy theorist podcaster, Joe Rogan.

If Aaron Rodgers can return to the field after lying and putting his teammates at risk, there is absolutely no reason Colin Kaepernick cannot return also. #KaepernickPlay — TucsonGal🐝🦋🌊🐰💉🌈 (@Tucsonbelle) January 9, 2022

Following Rodgers’ rant, Woodley also came in for criticism for posting boasts about his penis size and other snarky comments in response to media coverage of his vaccination controversy. Rodgers and Woodley quickly lost their luster as one of America’s favorite new celebrity super couples.

Social media also was alight with comments from people wondering if Munn or Danica Patrick, Rodgers’ more recent ex-girlfriend, knew things about him that everyone else was just learning:

Turns out Olivia Munn and Danica Patrick are the smartest women in the world for dumping Aaron Rodgers’ ass…they knew he’s a lunatic — Wu-Tang Is For The Children (@WUTangKids) November 5, 2021

Others added that Rodgers’ outburst made them less angry about how Munn and Mulaney handled their relationship, specifically with regard to Tendler. Others said the Munn-Mulaney romance somehow made more sense:

just wanted to clarify that this was a thinly veiled joke about Olivia Munn and John Mulaney and what she was onto was that dumping Aaron Rodgers was the right decision — Janna F. (@jannathepeanut) November 7, 2021

Munn and Mulaney first sparked dating rumors in May 2021, the same month that his split from Tendler was was made public. The following September, he said on the “Late Night With Seth Meyers”: “In the spring, I went to Los Angeles, and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia,” later adding, “and we are having a baby, together.”

Mulaney’s comments prompted fans to question the purported romance timeline, with people wondering if he was trying to cover for the possibility that he and Munn had begun seeing each other while he was still married to Tendler.

Munn tried to shoot down the controversy by telling the Los Angeles Times in November: “It’s definitely not foreign for me to have people speculate incorrectly about things and to have rumors run rampant in one way…They think they know our relationship so well. When in reality, they don’t. There’s no way anyone could know what any of his relationships were or what our relationship is.”

John Mulaney’s Ex-Wife Anna Marie Tendler Calls Watching Him Move on With Olivia Munn ‘Surreal’

Anna Marie Tendler is moving on from what she describes as a “really bad year.” The 36-year-old artist and ex-wife of comedian John Mulaney confirmed her split from the stand-up comic in May 2021. Shortly after, Mulaney went public with his relationship with actress Olivia Munn, and later announced they were expecting a child together.

Mulaney and Munn welcomed their son, Malcolm, in December.

“Everything that has transpired has been totally shocking and I think surreal,” says Tendler in a new profile for Harper’s Bazaar, recalling the time since her split from Mulaney. “In a way, I feel like, well, it can only go up from here, because I reached the depth of where I could go.”

Mulaney and Tendler were married for six years prior to their breakup. Mulaney checked himself into rehab facility for 60 days in December 2020 after struggling with alcohol and drug abuse. In a statement in May 2021, Tendler described herself as “heartbroken,” saying that Mulaney was the one who “decided to end our marriage.”

For years the two had been open about their desire not to have children together, with Mulaney even working it into his stand-up shows.

“[I’ve] always held partnership above having kids,” Tendler tells the magazine. Harper’s Bazaar writer Emily Gould notes that Tendler now plans to freeze her eggs.

“There were things I never even thought about before because that was just a closed door. So now that it feels like not as much of a closed door, it’s something that I ruminate on a lot,” she explains.

As she looks forward, Tendler is ready for a fresh start in 2022.

“I feel lucky that I get to be standing on the precipice of all of these new things, that I get to possibly experience, and who knows how they will go?" she shares. “And there is certainly something exciting about that.”

These Before And After Pics Of Olivia Munn Are INSANE—What Did She Do To Her Face?

Jennifer Lopez isn’t the only A-lister to come under fire for seemingly not being completely honest about the cosmetic procedures she may have had done to achieve her flawless age-defying complexion. And Olivia Munn is the latest famous face to be questioned over some of the comments she has made about cosmetic surgery, or more accurately, not having cosmetic surgery – especially because the before and after pictures seem to speak for themselves!

The TikTok account @FluentlyForward is just one of many social media accounts that have compared side by side pictures of the new mom (who welcomed her first child with John Mulaney – a son named Malcolm Hiệp – in November 2021) while also addressing some of the unfathomable reasons she has given for the change in her appearance. While J-Lo infamously credits olive oil as her biggest beauty secret (but not really a secret as she always shouts about it from rooftops!) the 41-year-old actress has also previously given credit to something that can be eaten. But do we believe her?

Back in 2018, the X-Men: Apocalypse star said that she ate hyaluronic acid-rich Japanese sweet potatoes to keep her skin looking young and wrinkle-free, which at the time, actually caused a bit of panic-buying among eager fans who wanted to see if surgery-like results could be achieved by consuming them.

While they may have some benefits, we don’t think that they can get the credit for Olivia’s very obvious face transformation, as not only does her face appear younger than ever, but it also appears to be enhanced and altered in quite a few places. We haven’t yet eaten a potato that powerful, although we are willing to keep eating potatoes and other delicious carbs just in case. All in the name of scientific research, of course…

Let’s go through some of the very obvious changes to the Violet actress’s face which we don’t think can be achieved with potato consumption. Olivia’s eyes are a big hint that she may have had some work done, as her eyes appear wider and more open than they did a few years ago, and her eyebrows appear much higher than in older pictures, making people believe that she has had a brow lift.

Fans have also speculated that the Love Wedding Repeat actress has had cheek implants, to give her very defined and sculpted – not to mention very high – cheekbones that even the best and most precise contour application couldn’t achieve. There are also subtle but still very noticeable changes to Olivia’s nose and chin, which make fans believe she has also had rhinoplasty (perhaps a nose graft to alter the appearance of the bridge of her nose) and chin implants. The change in her jaw could also be down to fillers and Botox, which fans think she may have had all over her face on several occasions, as well as lip fillers to give her a plump and enviable pout.

However, many fans are in agreement that the Buddy Games actress may have gone too far with her speculated secret procedures, and have said that she looked much “better” before. “Am I the only one who likes her original face better?” a fan wrote on the @FluentlyForward post about Olivia’s appearance. “I think Olivia was embarrassed cause she looked better before,” quipped another.

Another fan also joked that, “maybe sweet potato is the name of the doctor who performed her rhinoplasty,” referencing the actress’s 2018 comments about the alleged miracle-performing root vegetable, while several others commented about the unbelievable remarks that Olivia and other celebs make about the reasons for the change in their appearance. “They make getting work done toxic because they lie about their surgeries. My fav is all the nose jobs for sinus reasons,” one TikTok user wrote, while another added, “Olivia Munn also said another time ‘Oh, I started plucking my eyebrows from the bottom and not the top. that’s why i look so different!’”

John Mulaney On Welcoming A Child & Speculation Regarding The Split

John Edmund Mulaney, full name John Edmund Mulaney, is a stand-up comedian. Apart from that, he is also an actor, writer, and producer. He has worked on many commercial and critical successes, such as Saturday Night Live, Kid Gorgeous, John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch and etc.

He has also performed in voice acting roles, as well. Ranging from Big Mouth to the Academy Award-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, he has accomplished a lot. Most recently, he was met with a divorce but as they say, the show must go on.

Early Years

John Mulaney was born on August 26, 1982. His parents were Charles Mulaney Jr. and Ellen Mulaney. Born in Chicago, Illinois, his mother was a professor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his father was a partner and attorney at Skadden Arps.

He had 4 siblings with two brothers and two sisters. One of his brothers died in infancy, and John Mulaney kept his confirmation name as Martin as an honor to his brother, who was named Peter Martin. John was four years old at the time.

John Mulaney knew from a very early age that he wanted to enter the show business. From the age of seven participating in skits to the age he entered professionally, he had always been a fan of comedies.

John Mulaney’s First Marriage

John Mulaney married Anna Marie Tendler – his makeup artist and lampshade artisan. They made vows on 5th July 2014 and their wedding was carried out by their friend, Dan Levy. The event was carried out in Boiceville, New York.

Sadly, things didn’t work out between the two, and John Mulaney and Anna Marie announced their separation in May of 2021. John Mulaney filed for divorce in July of the same year, with the divorce finalizing in January 2022.

Separation with Anna Marie

In May 2021, news broke that John Mulaney and Anna Marie are going to be separated. Anna Marie at the time gave a statement to The New York Post regarding her separation, “I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery.”

The separation was announced five months after John Mulaney admitted himself into rehab for 2 months for drug and alcohol abuse. It should be noted that Page Six reported in May that John Mulaney was asked by Anna Marie for a divorce a quarter before the news of their split became public.

Speculation Regarding the Split

Page Six reported that a source told them that in September 2021, Anna Marie suspected that John Mulaney had been unfaithful before their separation and divorce. “Anna Marie knew he was doing things with other women before he went to rehab in December. And his claims to friends that he was trying to protect her before he went away to rehab were rubbish, she didn’t need protecting,” the source revealed.

The same insider added, “John was using Anna Marie to protect himself. But still, she was very heartbroken that he decided to end her marriage, she was heartbroken how it went down, it wasn’t something that she wanted, she wanted to work it out. I am sure this news about the pregnancy will be very difficult for her.”

Another source revealed that John Mulaney started texting other women on Instagram for potential meetings during the lockdown. “John really suffered through a lockdown last year. Anna Marie moved to Washington, DC, to work at the Smithsonian on a project and he was back in NYC and out of control,”

The insider further said, “He was DM’ing women on Instagram for hookups — whether he went through with anything, we don’t know—and by December he’d fallen off the wagon again and was abusing drugs and alcohol.”

John Mulaney’s Marriage with Olivia Munn

In May 2021, the same month it was announced that John was separating from his wife, it was announced that John Mulaney has begun dating actress Olivia Munn. And later in the year in the month of September, they both announced that they were expecting a child.

Just after a month separating from his wife Anna Marie, John Mulaney and Olivia Munn started dating. John Mulaney confirmed and announced Olivia Munn’s pregnancy on Late Night Show With Seth Meyers, in an interview on September 2021.

“I got into this relationship that’s been really beautiful with someone incredible,” he revealed. “And we’re having a baby together. I was nervous when I was about to say the news!” he added. “Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself in this early journey out of recovery.”

Their son was born on November 24, 2021. Olivia Munn, 41-year-old herself, shared a photo of John Mulaney and their newborn named Malcolm. The photo was captioned, “The smooshiest smoosh (And yep, our Christmas tree is still up).”

Reaction to Olivia Munn and John Mulaney’s child

Friends and colleagues of the couple could not get enough of the stars’ child and their newborn gift. They were met with many comments. Alyssa Milano commented, “Bring him to meet the horses. Those lips. So adorbs. My tree is still up too.” One fan confided, “Sobbing my eyes out goodbye.”

Olivia Munn has shared some photos of her son on social media, much to the delight of her 2 million-plus followers.

Anna Marie Tendler’s Reaction to John Mulaney’s Child

John Mulaney’s first wife’s reaction to his newborn was quite a shock. She has responded to the whole event transpiring as surreal.

She gave an interview to Harper’s Bazaar on the 11th of this month and broke the silence on the whole affair. The child Malcolm was born less than a year after their separation.

“I had a lot of bad days and medium days. I wouldn’t say I had any good days until the summer,” Anna Marie Tendler said. “Everything that has transpired has been totally shocking and I think surreal. In a way, I feel like, well, it can only go up from here, because I reached the depth of where I could go.”

“There were things I never even thought about before because that was just a closed door. So now that it feels like not as much of a closed door, it’s something that I ruminate on a lot,” Anna Marie said after she declared she now plans to freeze her eggs after John Mulaney’s child’s coming into this world.

G4 Host Slams Xplay Audience’s Sexist Expectations

img]

Cult-hit gaming channel G4 has only been back for a few months after its nearly decade-long hiatus, and already the hosts are fed up with some of the assholes in the audience. Former esports commentator and new Xplay co-host, Indiana “Froskurinn” Black, specifically called out the crude sexism of viewers, online commentators, and other randos that she still faces in gaming in the year 2021.

“In joining G4 I was ecstatic to be part of something I grew up watching as a child, but every time G4 is brought up in various channels, even in this YouTube channel—we have the chat in front of us I can see you—without a doubt there will be backlash because I’m not as ‘bangable’ as previous hosts,” Black said during a “Gaming Grievances” segment that aired yesterday.

Black was referencing Morgan Webb and Olivia Munn, among others, who during their time as G4 hosts were sometimes treated by both the show and its audience as sexual objects who were then also harassed for being “fake gamer girls.”

“It has somehow been expected that you can talk about how much you jerked off to women as a compliment,” Black said. “It’s not a compliment. It’s dehumanizing and it’s weird. Women do not exist to be nice on the eyes for you. Morgan Webb, Olivia Munn, did not exist to be nice on the eyes for you.”

Her remarks were shared by G4’s official account on Twitter where they blew up with others, including many of the gaming industry’s most prominent women, backing Black’s message.

One of the more infamous moments in G4’s original run came when Munn suggestively licked a PS3 during a “Megathon” coverage event for the console’s 2006 launch (a lot of things were licked on G4). In 2009, children’s song writer Parry Gripp wrote “The Girl At The Video Game Store” to celebrate Attack of the Show’s 1,000th episode. A music video for it starred Munn being lusted after by a young fictional customer at the store, and in many ways a stand-in for the median G4 viewer. Whether it was a role Munn crafted for herself or was forced into in order to succeed in a male-dominated field, it wasn’t a license for fans to be demeaning, nor to project those expectations onto others.

Munn, who went on to star in 2012’s Magic Mike and HBO’s The Newsroom, wrote in her book, Suck it, Wonder Woman: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek, about a 2004 incident where a Hollywood director, later revealed to be Brett Ratner, masturbated in front of her in his trailer. Prior to other allegations coming out against Ratner, the X-Men director went on G4’s Attack of the Show in 2011 (after Munn had left) to promote an upcoming movie and used the interview to make sexually demeaning and racist remarks about the former host to her former co-host, Kevin Pereira.

Read More: The Cost Of Being A Woman Who Covers Video Games

While G4 relaunched last November with a much more diverse staff this time around, it’s clearly been hard to exorcise all of its past demons, including the misogyny of some of its early fans. Pereira is back headlining the new incarnation of Attack of the Show, while Adam Sessler co-hosts the new version of Xplay.

“We’re Xplay, not Adamplay,” Black said yesterday on the show. “Adam will read a script written by the same writer that I will read the other half of the script for but I’ll be the one flamed. Both things can be true: that there is a general hatred of any change that isn’t Adam and that I’ll receive special flame just for being a woman.”

She went on:

When you’re in our DMs or in those YouTube comments or in Twitch chat right now, those reactionary threads thinking I’m somehow ruining your current Xplay experience because you can’t objectify me how you previously did to Morgan, or that I’m somehow less qualified to speak on something but you can’t quite put your finger on why even though I’m reading the exact same script as Adam, but you have no problem when he’s part of it, you’re letting your unconscious biases ruin my day and you’re gatekeeping the gaming space.

“Holy Shit i just bore witness to one of the most amazing things i’ve ever been part of on live TV,” Sessler, who applauded loudly through a TV screen while broadcasting remotely, wrote on Twitter yesterday. “I love Froskurinn even more if that was possible.”

While Black was specifically drawing on her own experience at G4, that experience is far from unique. As the gaming space has proven time and again, no channel, company, or community has a monopoly on sexism, racism, or other forms of hate and ridicule. But it’s also true that some of the biggest names in gaming—from Xbox to Activision Blizzard—played a part in cultivating a hostile atmosphere for marginalized people for decades, whether by letting it run amok or actively trying to profit from it. Understandably, those left to pick up the pieces are fed up.
