people ask why he’s with a ‘fatty’ but he loves my curves
]
AFTER dating a string of slender women, singer Zayn Malik is swiping in a different direction.
The Sun on Sunday revealed yesterday the 29-year-old former One Direction star bedded curvy Towie beauty Abi Clarke behind while in a relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid.
6 Zayn Malik had an affair with Towie’s Abi Clarke behind the back of supermodel lover Gigi Hadid
6 The Towie beauty revealed to a friend that he moaned to her about all the skinny girls in LA
Abi, 30, who met Zayn in Los Angeles, told a pal he loved her shapely bum and even moaned to her about all the skinny girls in LA.
The news comes after reports Zayn had signed up to plus-size dating app WooPlus following his split last October from Gigi, the mother of his 16-month-old daughter Khai.
Zayn is certainly not the only man who thinks bigger is better when it comes to love.
Plus-size dating has become serious business.
There are now a host of apps and sites championing “big beautiful women” (BBW) and targeting the guys who prefer them to skinnier girls.
We speak to a number of plus-size daters, as well as a slim guy who reckons curvy girls are better in bed.
‘Mixed-weight couples can be hard but his feelings are real’
6 Megan Goldberger met her boyfriend Si Kobia on plus-size dating app BBWCupid
FITNESS instructor Megan Goldberger, 25, from Bridgend in South Wales, started seeing Si Kobia, 27, after meeting him on the plus-size dating app BBWCupid.
Megan, who stands 5ft 3in tall and wears a size-22 dress, says Si, an admin manager, loves her curves. She believes plus-size dating apps let girls like her shine and says: “I first met Si in December. He said in his app profile he liked girls who were into fitness with curves.
“I’m a size 22 and a fitness instructor for big girls. I also do pageants, so I know how to bring the glamour and dress to show off my figure.
“We hit it off right away and exchanged tons of messages before going on a date at the London Eye.
“I love that Si isn’t afraid to say he fancies bigger girls, unlike some slim guys I’ve dated in the past.
“Si is proud to have me on his arm and take me out for dinner or to a club and not hide me away.
“People may be surprised to learn my type is super-fit men with muscles, like Si. It may sound hypocritical but we can’t help who we fancy.
“Being in a mixed-weight couple isn’t always easy. Sadly we do sometimes get strange looks when we go out and I hear the odd jibe from thin girls asking what a “hot” guy is doing with a “fatty” like me. That hurts but I try to ignore it.
“I know Si’s feelings for me are genuine, so that’s all that matters.
“Zayn has given men of all shapes and sizes the courage to say they like big girls and that’s something to. celebrate.
Si adds: “I date all types of women but I have a thing for plus-size girls, which is why I use those specific apps.
“When I saw Megan’s profile on the dating app, I knew I had to message her.
“She’s beautiful and I love her curves. We also share a love of fitness.
“Plus-size dating apps are great because if you do like bigger girls, it saves looking at thousands of profiles to find the one big woman on a standard dating app. But girls can be bitchy about me dating a larger lady, which I can’t stand”.
‘Bums and boobs are in, beauty isn’t just a size-eight’
6 Jade Dando says the amount of plus-size dating app proves how much men like big girls
ADMIN manager Jade Dando, 25, from Swindon, Wilts, is 5ft tall and wears a size 18 or 20. But she prefers slim guys and says: “I love that there’s now loads of plus-size dating apps, proving just how much men like big girls.
“On “normal” apps we feel we stand out like sore thumbs and can get left out, mocked and abused. Or we get thin guys fetishising us, which can be creepy and make you feel violated.
“Others don’t look at your profile properly and ditch you when you set up a date and remind them how big you are.
“But big bottoms and big boobs are all the rage now and the idea of beautiful being a size-eight is changing.
“But I must admit, I don’t like fat men and prefer thin guys like Zayn. It may sound hypocritical but I do. Today I’m proud of my size but growing up was hard.
“My slimmer mates always had boyfriends at school and I was always the single one.
“Sometimes I think guys asked me to parties because they felt sorry for me.
“When I first used dating apps, there was a real stigma associated with plus-size women.
“Men assumed I was desperate. It was humiliating. I won’t accept second best or be anyone’s sympathy date.
“Zayn is showing men it’s OK to like big girls and nothing to be ashamed of.”
‘Men are no longer scared to admit they prefer curvy girls’
6 Hannah Golding uses the plus-size dating app that Zayn Malik is on
PAGEANT coach and mother-of-one Hannah Golding, 32, from Swindon, Wilts, is 5ft 6in tall and wears a size 20. She uses a number of plus-size dating apps, including the one Zayn is on, WooPlus.
She says: “I wanted to show people that plus-size women are loveable and just as valuable as slim women.
“WooPlus is great. It targets men who love plus-size women and allows you to weed out the time-wasters. On normal apps, many men list plus-size as their “kink”, which makes you feel like a freak.
“A lot of men use plus-size women for cheap thrills and lead you on, then don’t show up on the date.
“It’s just a laugh to them – probably something they sit around doing with their mates.
“One guy who was messing me about on Tinder finally admitted he was only talking to me as a dare.
“Others use fake profiles and treat a plus-size woman as an easy hook-up, because of the assumption we are lonely and desperate.
“The worst are guys who think if you are plus-size, you must want to be “fed” to gain weight and they fetishise us.
“On WooPlus, the men are serious about liking curvier women.
“I feel much more comfortable on plus-size dating apps and now there’s so many to choose from. It’s a huge market and one that keeps on growing.
“As a plus-sized girl, it can be hard meeting people in “real life”.
“I’ve been out with my girlfriends who are under a size 18 and been totally ignored by blokes and treated like the token “big-girl pal”.
“It’s why I use TikTok and Instagram to talk about plus-size relationships and dating, sharing my experiences.
“For years lots of men have kept their love of big girls a dirty little secret and pretended to like thin girls.
“In 2022, more people are using plus-size apps, proving men are no longer scared to admit to their mates they like plus-size girls.
“I can’t believe Zayn is a fan of big girls, especially after he dated tiny girls like Perrie Edwards and Gigi.
“I was shocked – but he’s flying the flag for us girls. We are no longer the butt of people’s jokes and are just as sexy and relationship-worthy as slim girls.”
‘Guys secretly want to date larger women’
6 Joe Hutchins says Zayn Malik has inspired men to be more open about liking larger ladies
BAR manager Joe Hutchins, 26, from Truro in Cornwall, loves dating plus-size women – but he reckons guys are afraid to admit it to their friends.
Joe says: “I was thrilled when I heard Zayn liked big girls. He’s a good-looking bloke and usually dates stick-thin models. But by signing up to a plus-size dating app, he’s inspired men to be more open about liking larger ladies and not worry about what their mates think.
“I love plus-size women. I like something to grab on to. They’re also better in bed. One of my previous girlfriends was a size 18 and another was a size 20. They were also more adventurous between the sheets than some of my slimmer ex-girlfriends.
“I often find super-skinny girls are needy, worrying about everything they eat and do – and how they look naked.
“Growing up, a lot of bigger girls were teased in school or last to be asked out. I know loads of blokes secretly wanted to date them but were too afraid of what their mates might say.
“Zayn isn’t the type of bloke you think would fancy a bigger girl, especially after dating Gigi and Perrie. But now he is showing men they should play the field size-wise.”

Bella Hadid dazzles in daring plunging brown dress as she joins brother Anwar for dinner

Bella Hadid worked her magic once again as she stepped out in West Hollywood for dinner on Saturday evening with her brother Anwar, while sister Gigi stayed home.
The model, 25, looked nothing short of perfection as she donned a chocolate brown dress that boasted a plunging neckline down to her bellybutton.
She paired the backless halterneck dress with some retro style white boots, that elevated her height and drew attention to her legs.

The sister of Gigi toted a leopard print bag under one arm, and accessorised with a pair of giant hoop earrings.
Her brunette hair was swept back from her face in an elegant updo, while she completed her look with a soft palette of makeup to accentuate her pretty features.
Anwar, 22, looked handsome in a black jumper emblazoned with a rose, with his pink collar peaking out.

Bella was joined by friends for the outing but sadly, for those interested in her love life, there was no sign of her boyfriend, art director Marc Kalman.
The couple were spotted enjoying a stroll through New York, arm-in-arm, on New Year’s Day.
Bella and Marc have been linked since July 2020, but they tend to keep a fairly low profile aside from when they’re spotted on their regular walks.

Best pals: She was joined by several friends for the outing
It wasn’t until October of 2021 that Bella shared photo with her beau to her Instagram page.
According to Kalman’s website, he’s an art director who has worked both with his girlfriend and Kylie Jenner’s rapper partner Travis Scott.
Last year, a source explained to Page Six how the couple managed to keep their romance under wraps.
Dashing: Anwar, 22, looked handsome in a black jumper emblazoned with a rose, with his pink collar peaking out
‘They hid it [their dating] well. If they went out, he would come out first, get the car, and then she would get into the car,’ the source explained.
‘They would drive to a location, and he’d drop her off but not get out and go park the car. They were very diligent about not being seen on a public street at the same time.’
Meanwhile, Anwar has reportedly split from singer Dua Lipa, 26, after two years together.

The couple were first romantically linked back in June 2019, but it was reported by several outlets such as Deux Moi that the couple called it quits.
There had been reports that the couple was ‘on the rocks,’ with sources claiming they hadn’t seen each other for eight weeks because of their schedules.
The couple first floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as traveling so much and being apart is proving tough.

Dua has reportedly been recording her album in London and in Los Angeles, while Anwar has been in New York.
A source close to the couple recently revealed to People that they are ‘currently on a break.’
No beau: Sadly, for those interested in her love life, there was no sign of her boyfriend, art director Marc Kalman
The insider claimed the couple are currently, ‘figuring things out right now’ and ‘spending time apart.’
In May 2021, Dua revealed they first met at a barbecue, but after she slid into his DMs and ‘carried onto DMs’ while she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Their sister Gigi did not join the sibling at the meal, following her ongoing drama with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, after it was reported he had an affair with one-time TOWIE star Abi Clarke while he was in a relationship with Gigi.
Loved-up: Bella and Marc have been linked since July 2020, but they tend to keep a fairly low profile aside from when they’re spotted on their regular walks
The singer, 29, is said to have been ‘obsessed’ with the TV personality, 30, after seeing her from across a bar in Los Angeles, with the pair going on to have a secret fling.
Abi, who previously dated Floyd Mayweather, called Zayn ‘Mr Grey’ as they went on to meet up at his mansion in North London, according to The Sun.
Zayn split from supermodel Gigi in October, after six years together. They share a 16-month-old daughter Khai.
Fling: Zayn Malik reportedly had an affair with one-time TOWIE star Abi Clarke while he was in a relationship with Gigi
The reported affair only ended when Abi saw a text from the supermodel, 26, pop up on his phone, saying; ‘I miss you’.
The stunned television star, who joined TOWIE briefly in 2013, is said to have thought Zayn had broken up with Gigi when they began the fling and so ended things upon seeing the message as she ‘didn’t want to be his other woman’.
Of their fling Abi told her friend, according to the publication: ‘My experiences with him were like Fifty Shades of Grey. I called him my “Mr Grey”. We had a great time together.’

Exes: Zayn split from supermodel Gigi - who she shares 16-month-old daughter Khai with, in October (Zayn and Gigi pictured in 2020)
Abi reportedly told her pal Zayn told her she was his type as he loved ‘curvy girls with a big bum’.
The pair were said to have first laid eyes on each other at LA bar The Bungalow with Abi being invited over to Zayn’s table. The publication claims Zayn ‘moaned to her how there were lots of skinny girls in LA’.
Abi told her friend: ‘He said he liked my figure, He was very tactile, he was in an oversized black jacket and drinking brandy… he was all over me, kissing me,’ with Zayn’s manager ’trying to get us somewhere private’.
The TV personality is also said to have told her friend that Zayn kept remarking that she ‘reminded him’ of his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards, whom he dumped via text in 2015.
Done: Abi went on to describe to her pal the moment the romance came crashing down after she accidentally saw a message from Gigi on the phone, saying she was ‘stunned’
The pair are said exchanged numbers and went on to rendezvous at his £4million house in London.
Abi went on to describe to her pal the Pillowtalk hitmaker’s ‘incredible’ three-floor home, which was adorned with superhero figures and ‘cool street art’, while the home is also said to feature glass floors, a giant teepee in the garden and a old-school pub.
It is said the singer confided in Abi about everything from his family, his time in One Direction and even his split from Perrie, 28, telling her he was ‘really upset’ about how that relationship had ended.
Liaisons: Abi previously dated Floyd Mayweather back in 2017(pictured together)
Abi reportedly even believed she had a ‘future’ with the chart-topper after he serenaded his latest song at the time Dusk Till Dawn for her and even suggested she could be in the video.
The now property developer went on to describe to her pal the moment the romance came crashing down after she accidentally saw a message from supermodel Gigi on the phone, which read: ‘I miss you’.
The pal said she told her: ‘I was stunned. It made me feel really s***. I went very quiet. He’d made it clear he was single. He was so attentive to me I thought it must be true. We were seeing a lot of each other and you grew feelings. It was very awkward.’
Following the end of their alleged fling, Zayn is said to have returned to LA full time, but Abi wasn’t far from his mind as some time later he FaceTimed her at 3am from the US.
Rylan Clark hospitalised after ‘dangerous dark’ thoughts took over
]
The nation’s sweetheart Rylan Clark has bravely admitted he was hospitalised for his own safety after his marriage split triggered a breakdown
Rylan Clark has revealed dark thoughts led him to be hospitalised for his own safety after his marriage split triggered a breakdown.
The loveable star, who rose to fame on X Factor, bravely shared his struggle today and thanked his family and close friends for support, saying he wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them.
Determined to become famous by any means, Rylan – real name Ross – burst onto our screens on X Factor before winning CBB and then becoming host of the show.
But fans became concerned after it was announced the Essex native was splitting from his husband of six years Dan last summer. Rylan “vanished” from TV and radio – and it is only now he is explaining just how dark 2021 was for the star.

Speaking to the Observer, he says: “I didn’t think I’d be here. I didn’t think I could continue.” Could continue to work, I ask, or to live? “Both. I didn’t think I’d actually come back. I was very… gone.”
“I was having thoughts and doing things that made me… f**ked up, for want of a better word. I didn’t understand why I was doing that to myself. So, I went away for a bit.” To hospital? “Yes. For safety reasons.” He coughs gently. “It’s really strange talking about this, because I’ve not even spoken about it to my friends. I just never thought I could get that ill.”
“Strange situations do very strange things to people. If it wasn’t for my mum, and my family and close friends I genuinely have no idea if I’d be here.”

Rylan explained his time in hospital taught him to say no to people after his Rylan persona started to invade his private life and admits although his marriage breakdown was a trigger, says he needed to find “Ross” again.
He adds: “I learned I’m worth something. That I should be proud of myself, not embarrassed of Rylan. I should be proud that I can build my mum a house. I should be proud that I can employ my family. I learned that.”
