PETA Calls Out Kanye and The Game Over Cover Art of Skinned Monkey for New Song
]
Kanye West and the Game have landed themselves in hot water with PETA over the extremely graphic cover art for their upcoming collaboration.
Both rappers took to Instagram Thursday night to promote their forthcoming song by posting identical images of a skinned monkey, originally photographed by Nick Knight, against a blood-red background. Ye and Game captioned the photo with the title of their collab. “MY LIFE WAS NEVER EASY,” they wrote in their respective posts.
It didn’t take long before PETA joined the conversation, with President Ingrid Newkirk giving Billboard an official statement.
“The photo is reminiscent of the monkeys PETA has found, sometimes heads, sometimes hands, sometimes the whole body, in meat markets around the world and it makes it clear that when you remove the fur you can’t miss that there’s a person in there, that they are fellow primates, and do not belong to us to abuse for any purpose, not in laboratories, roadside zoos, movies, or meat markets,” Newkirk said.
At your own discretion, scroll down to see the Instagram post in question, as well as Nick Knight’s original artwork that inspired it.

Kanye West unveils a peculiar figure on Instagram: ‘My Life Was Never Eazy’
Kanye West raised eyebrows with his peculiar selection of picture for his recent Instagram post amidst reports of him allegedly punching a fan outside a club in Los Angeles.
Taking to Facebook-owned app, the 44-year-old rapper dropped a hard-to-interpret photo in which a figure (supposedly a monkey) is seemingly put against a red background.
The rapper wrote along the photograph, “MY LIFE WAS NEVER EAZY.”
The Praise God song-maker also tagged artist The Game in the post, making fans wonder if a collaboration is on its way.
West updated his feed after he was alleged of physically assaulting a fan who asked the rapper for an autograph on Thursday late-night.
TMZ shared a video in which the Flashing Lights rapper is seen yelling at his crew member. “Get away from me,” he screams.
Meanwhile, Police have also confirmed that West went under investigation for alleged assault.
Kanye West Shares Disturbing Artwork Teasing New Song With The Game
]
Kanye West says his goal now is to control the sound of music as he readies his new song ahead of Donda 2. Ye shared a disturbing artwork to promote the new single.
The Donda rapper revealed that he is planning to drop a new track this week while on a FaceTime video chat with DJ Premier on Wednesday. West said the song will be released this week and hinted that Pusha T might be on it along with fellow rapper The Game.
Kanye’s last release was his 10th studio album Donda which was released in September last, and the album is up for Best Rap Album at the 64th Grammy Awards later this month.
Kanye West, in the meantime, has been busy as he teased that a sophomore album will follow up Donda, but he has also been making the rounds with various artists leading to fans speculating that his new music might be for the second album installation.
The rapper confirmed on the video chat with DJ Premier that new music might be coming sooner than Ye stans expect. The video of the call was posted by designer Tracey Mills where Kanye is heard telling Premier that he is his “inspiration.”
Before long, The Game and Pusha T, who were also in the studio, also joined in the conversation.
“We’re starting a whole…we about to just control the sound of music, it’s up to us now, period,” Kanye says to Premier before adding, “We got a song we’re releasing Friday that we wanted you to do a scratch on, if possible,” he asked.
Kanye has been seen frequently over the last few weeks with his girlfriend of 13 days, Julia Fox, and other artists, including Moneybagg Yo and Antonio Brown in Los Angeles.
Kanye West also shared a artwork for a new song while tagging The Game in the post on his Instagram. “My Life Was Never Eazy,” he wrote in all caps in the caption. The Game also shared the artwork which is quite disturbing since it shows a skinless ape.
This comes days after a video from their studio session surfaced showing Kanye rapping over a sample of the late Eazy-E’s 1988 classic “Eazy-Duz-It.”
Kanye West’s scathing Pete and Kim ‘diss track’ shocks fans
]
Kanye West took to Instagram on Friday to announce his brand new track, Eazy.
The track is a collaboration with American rapper The Game and was released at midnight.
Ye’s new song is a hot topic of conversation online right now for a number of different reasons.
Not only does it have some disturbingly bizarre artwork, it also disses Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian…

Kanye West disses Pete and Kim
Kanye certainly hasn’t held back on Eazy, and in one line, he slams SNL star Pete Davidson.
The 28-year-old is currently dating Kanye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, and Ye certainly doesn’t seem to be too happy about it.
“God saved me from the crash / just so I could beat Pete Davidson’s a**,” he raps, referring to the 2002 crash in which Kanye almost died after falling asleep at the wheel.
He takes numerous swipes at his ex Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children, too.
Ye starts off quite tame, rapping: “N****, we havin’ the best divorce ever/ If we go to court, we’ll go to court together.”
Then, he takes all the credit for looking after the children, saying “I watched four kids for like five hours today” before calling her out for not watching the kids with: “The cameras watch the kids, y’all stop takin’ the credit.”
He even dissed his own children, North, Saint, Psalm and Chi, calling them “boujee and unruly” and saying they “need to do some chores”.

‘Diss track’ shocks fans
Fans can’t believe that Kanye actually wrote a ‘diss track’ about Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson.
One person wrote: “I can’t believe Kanye west wrote a Pete Davidson diss track (line in his song) it just seems like a bad idea to diss a dude who can make fun of you nonstop on national tv on a whim lol.”
“Kanye’s Kim K diss track is wild,” said another.
A third person added: “Kanye West dropping a diss track against Pete Davidson, what a time to be alive.”
“Idk why Kanye did that. It’s not like Pete Davidson is gonna respond by dropping a diss track If anything, it’s just gonna give him material for his stand up,” wrote another.
Nobody had that on their 2022 bingo card!

The artwork is a skinned monkey
The artwork for the new track is pretty unsettling.
On Friday (January 14th), Kanye posted a strange photo on Instagram of a skinned monkey stripped of its fur and covered in blood.
He captioned the post “MY LIFE IS NEVER EAZY” and at the time, no one knew what it meant.
Now, it’s clear that it’s actually the artwork for Eazy, but no one is sure what relevance the monkey actually has to the song.
The original image belongs to British fashion photographer Nick Knight and was taken in 1997 as part of an editorial piece for Big Magazine.

Kim Kardashian finds Julia Fox’s fandom flattering rather than creepy.
Sources tell Page Six that the Skims mogul is glad her estranged husband, Kanye West, chose a fan over a critic for a girlfriend.
“She appreciates that Julia admires her and her family — and would much rather prefer that over someone who is a hater,” a source told Page Six.
Fox — West’s new gal pal, who starred in the hit indie film, “Uncut Gems” — has described herself as a “superfan” of the Kardashian clan in past episodes of her “Forbidden Fruits” podcast, and has even said, “I wanted them to be my family.”
But Fox downplayed her admiration for the reality TV family on a new episode of the podcast released Thursday, explaining, “I’m not like a die-hard, [standing] in line in the cold for, like, a store opening. I don’t even own one Lip Kit [by Kylie Jenner].” she said.
Meanwhile, sources told us Kardashian is aware of, but unfazed by, the chatter comparing Fox to her.
Insiders have said Kanye West is using the same tactics to woo Julia Fox as he did with Kim Kardashian. SplashNews.com
“Kim is unbothered by the way that Kanye is courting Julia with makeovers, clothes, [by] dressing her in the same designers — or even the comparisons,” another source previously told Page Six.
Kardashian has yet to officially comment on West and Fox’s new situation, but multiple sources told us she’s happy for them and supports his dating choice.
“Kim loves to see Kanye happy and only wants positive things for him because it’s what’s best for their kids and co-parenting relationship,” the source said.
Kardashian has moved on with Pete Davidson, and friends of the couple “have never seen either of them so relaxed, happy and laughing so much,” we’re told.
Meanwhile, West released a teaser for a new song Friday, “My Life Was Never Eazy,” in which he raps, “God saved me from that crash/ just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass,” a reference to West’s near-fatal 2002 car accident.
Reps for West and Kardashian did not comment.
