During her segment, Lita admitted that she is not in WWE just to make a few appearances. Instead, she is with the company to properly wrestle, as she noted that she has one final run left in her.

The former WWE Women’s champion was involved in multiple ‘love storylines’ in WWE. From being part of the on-screen relationship with Matt Hardy to almost getting married to Kane, Lita has done all of it.
However, there have been some blurred lines in real and reel when it comes to Lita’s relationships. So, let’s end the debate here.
Is Lita married?
Despite being involved in two on-screen weddings on Raw, it might surprise many to learn that she has never been married in real life. Yes, the former champion decided to not get married once she decided to retire in 2006.
When she debuted in 1999 as part of the Team Xtreme (Matt Hardy, Lita, and Jeff Hardy), Lita had a real-life relationship with Matt Hardy; however, it all changed when she was involved with Edge which resulted in a real-life affair.
The Hall of Famer even dated the former WWE champion CM Punk for a brief time.
Are Edge and Lita still together?
Edge and Lita sparked a bunch of controversies when the WWE decided to put them together as an ‘affair storyline’ which resulted in putting Edge on the main event scene of the company.

Even Edge’s real-life wife Beth Phoenix got uncomfortable seeing the two do over-the-top romantic things with each other in front of the live WWE audience.

However, the two of them are not together in any possible way. Eventually, Edge and Lita are back with WWE now, striking some old memories from the Ruthless Aggression Era.

SmackDown tag team champions The Usos kicked off the show, drawing a big pop from fans.
Jimmy and Jey introduced a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match to determine the No. 1 contenders to their titles, featuring Los Lotharios (Angel and Humberto), the team of Cesaro and Mansoor, Jinder Mahal and Shanky, and The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar).
The champs called for the bell but not before delivering cheap superkicks to Erik and Mansoor.
As The Viking Raiders built momentum following the break, Cesaro and Mahal worked together to set up a superplex on Ivar. Erik joined in and executed a Tower of Doom spot, bringing all three men to the mat below in time for another break.
Cesaro teased a swing on Ivar but Mahal broke it up. Los Lotharios exploded through the ring and wiped out the competition. When Ivar teased the same, he was met by dropkicks from the heels. Ivar recovered and joined Erik for the Viking Experience and the win.

Analysis
The number of commercial breaks and their placement in this one really hurt what was a fun match in between.
The Viking Raiders have been flirting with a title opportunity for the last month or two and really are the only credible team left to face The Usos for the tag titles at this point. That could have been avoided had the creative team not spent weeks booking the teams to trade wins and losses, or just straight-up made up a team in Cesaro and Mansoor.
Erik and Ivar are too good to be wandering aimlessly. Hopefully, their title opportunity reminds those in power of that and gives them a role on the show with more consistency than they have enjoyed to this point.

WWE recently shocked the entire professional wrestling world by opening the Forbidden Door. During the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE opened the Forbidden Door by announcing Mickie James as one of the participants in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

James is currently signed to NWA and Impact Wrestling and is also the current Impact Knockouts Champion. WWE acknowledged her as the Impact Knockouts Champion while confirming her participation. Early in 2022, no one could have imagined this.
Mickie James is not the only WWE legend that will take part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Lita, Kelly Kelly, Michelle McCool, Nikki Bella, and Brie Bella will also take part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

During an episode of the Busted Open podcast, WWE legend Bully Ray talked about whether Lita or Mickie James should win the Women’s Royal Rumble match or not. He said, “Should Mickie or Lita win the Women’s Royal Rumble? No. It has to be one of the homegrown talents.”
Later, Bully Ray praised the WWE legends and mentioned them to be leaders in the ring. He added he wants the veteran women to guide the younger women deep into the Royal Rumble match.
Bully Ray said, “They are leaders in that ring. I am leaving a Lita and a Mickie James in there with a Bianca Belair and a Liv Morgan deep into the Rumble so that the fans are completely invested. Leave the veterans in with the young talent.”

Changes Made To Upcoming WWE RAW Taping
]
Last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown included a commercial promoting the upcoming RAW taping in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 31.
The advertised matches at the Heritage Bank Center have actually been changed and will now include a six-man tag team match between Big E & The Street Profits vs. Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, & Seth Rollins.
There is also a triple threat match for the RAW Women’s Championship with Becky Lynch defending the gold against Liv Morgan & Bianca Belair. The Heritage Bank Center’s website has yet to make these changes to its website, as it still promotes a one-on-one Women’s Title match between Lynch & Belair.
Beyond the commercial itself, many memorable things happened on last night’s episode of SmackDown, including the return of WWE Hall of Famer, Lita. The in-ring veteran made her intentions known rather quickly, vowing that she will make her in-ring return to compete in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match.
She was then confronted by the SmackDown Women’s Champion, ‘The Queen’, Charlotte Flair, and heated words boiled over into a physical altercation, one that Lita came out on top of when she hit Charlotte with a twist of fate.
