Eddie Kingston stopped by the “Battleground Podcast” where he was asked what he thought about receiving an AEW contract.

“It was crazy because I tell everyone I struggle with a lot of mental health issues. I’m really open with it because I don’t care. Only God can judge me, so I don’t care what people say, ”Kingston began.

“It was weird. It was an emotional time. I remember crying over the contract. Then I got worried, because again, the mental health issue, I like to tell people that it is. is the Irish, Puerto Rican, Catholic guilt that I have. I’m sitting there like, “Do I deserve this?”, because I have friends, and I don’t have many, but I have friends who don’t make that money. ”

“I almost had a little remorse almost, I guess that’s the right word. Do I deserve this contract? Do I deserve the love I get? Then you start to think in your head: ‘No, you don’t’, and you have to get out of it. “

“I am fortunate to have a mentor and a friend like Homicide who is very street and very honest with me. He would never lie to me. He made me feel good for what I was doing. I have a really good team of people around me, and I like to keep it that way because a lot of times, if you have bad people around you, they shoot you down, and I don’t try to get put down.

Upon watching 90’s WWE and when I saw Sunny she eventually became my crush. I’m so sad about what happened to her, I still hope she gets better. — Jaypx. ➐ (@Patrick_Yukes) January 14, 2022

Some fans are call for Tammy to be memoryholed from the WWE entirely

This is not good for Sunny this time around. Who thinks that WWE should give her the 2015 Hogan treatment and remove her from everything WWE related? https://t.co/plgydaeqzk — MK3Kratos (@MK3Kratos) January 13, 2022

Sunny is so embarrassing and is a lost cause at this point. She needs to be removed from the WWE Hall of Fame and never referred to as a legend again pic.twitter.com/XvobDNJDSq — 🖤 Wilson 🎓 (@WonderWilson18) January 13, 2022

I think its about time Sunny is removed from the WWE Hall of Fame and other things related to her in WWE — Matt the Misfit (@MattTheMizfit) January 13, 2022

I don’t know how removing her from WWE altogether is helpful or even necessary. It isn’t like she is ever brought up on TV or on Peacock. Taking off the Hall of Fame seems pointless because the HALL OF FAME ITSELF IS pointless. Tammy seems like someone who needs mental health care, not constant ridicule.

I hope Tammy can get the help she clearly needs. WWE is known for paying for rehab and assistance for former talent, so I wouldn’t expect Vince to send her to rehab once again, if this is indeed involving substance abuse.
